My wife and I stayed here while visiting with her grandmother just across the border in Slovenia. ||We were shown to a clean and comfortable room. Yes the room faced the street and so if you want a quiet sleep be sure to keep the windows closed. ||The bed was comfortable and had an optional feather quilt in the event of a cold night. ||The room came with a shower that had ample hot water and pressure. You'll likely need to run the shower for a few minutes as the water initially smelt of sulphur but cleared there after. ||Got the impression the hotel was family run. The main person who checked us in was gracious, helped us with our bags and inquired how our room suited us. ||Breakfast was included and we had our choice of egg dishes. In the morning i had basic scrambled eggs cooked to order which was fine. ||The kitchen closed at 9:45pm so we never got to experience the food other than breakfast. ||The hotel had a working tv and free internet via wifi both of which worked fine. ||If you are looking for a home base in the area this seemed fine for us for the 2 nights we stayed. My husband and I stayed there for three weeks in July of 2011. The rooms were clean, the service was excellent. Breakfast and dinner was good, the food was plentiful and the price was right. All staff were gracious and accommodating; couldn't do enough for us.

Yes it was a bit noisy, but that is to be expected in a small roadside hotel. We just kept the AC on and the windows closed.

We just got back from our second stay (2017. June) at the Gozmalom . Perfect stay with all of the same kudos, except that I give it five stars this time... No noise.. Thank you everyone for your graciousness... We can't wait to come...

The hotel is located above a restaurant on the main road. The accommodation is extremely basic but clean. It is extremely noisy, day and night. Drunk guest could be heard throughout the night swearing and breaking objects in their rooms or bathrooms. The TV did not work. The Wi-Fi did not work. The breakfast wasn't fresh and it was extremely limited, some stale food was placed on a plate in front of us. Overall a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this...
