Awful experience altogether. Would not recommend to anyone to visit. Rude waiters, horrible service. We went there to have a steak dinner but the grade was not how we asked at all. They did not manage to make one order right. My two year old boy had a rock hard risotto as well… Fuming that we even visited at all… when we complained we have been told that everything was fine with a food so our opinion was completely dismissed. Asked for medium and got rare, asked for well done and got medium —- in what case that classes fine?! - Following our complaint the waiter pulled a face and said you can pay downstairs on your way out!!!! What kind of dining experience this is? Biggest joke is that they accounted 8 % of the bill for service which wasn’t provided at all as we have been told to walk downstairs with all family and...

Awful dinner - spent hours in a cellar instead of sightseeing

When we arrived the restaurant was empty, so we were the only guests. The menu contained some fantasy names, but did not describe the meals even in Hungarian or in English, therefore for decision making the help of the waiter was required - at least he spoke English well. After we ordered 5 different main dishes we had to wait at least one hour. The ordered meals contained the same garnish, and their preparation cannot require more than 30 minutes (chicken breast, pasta, steak)... E.g. the preparation some salad with buffalo mozzarella - which was a sliced mozzarella with some pine nuts and grains - cannot take more than 5 minutes... ...so we spent our time in a cellar instead of...

We reserved a table on a Saturday, which is not our favourite day... The restaurant is very near (at the formerly mosque) to the center. No seats outside. The waiter, who speaks English and German, explained everything in detail and gave us perfect recommedations, including a bottle of local red wine. Every dish was extrodinary: Variation of Hummus & Beef tartar, home made ravioli & chicken, desert. Menu is changing often, so no more description. Probably the best restaurant in Pécs, "Böff" maybe the second one. Please give them a chance they...
