There is a lot to like about Natura Hill. The setting is wonderful, with great views of a lovely region. The restaurant is decent value for the level of cuisine, and is high-quality without being pretentious. They have clearly thought through the concept, aesthetics and service to a high level.||||That said, it is difficult to wholeheartedly recommend it at this stage. It is, especially by Hungarian standards, not at all cheap, but still has some very rough edges showing, which are not really being acknowledged or addressed. We stayed in the new annexe slightly down the hill from the main building, which we were a bit shocked to discover was in no way finished. The website allowed that the garden was not yet complete, but that was a big understatement – the whole surrounding area was a building site. To drive this point home, workers showed up at 8am the next morning (a Saturday), which was rather startling given the size of the windows. They seemed to be erecting a fence when we left, which would at least have hidden the piles of rubbish left over from building work, which occupied a rather large proportion of the view (which, to be fair, was otherwise very nice). Accepting guests when building work is ongoing is one thing, but rather than apologise, they seemed to be hoping that we’d not notice. If we had known the true situation, we would have ensured we booked in the main house, which is actually finished – I can only assume this is still a good idea.||||A related issue here is that especially if booking in the annexe – where the rooms are less decoratively distinct – pay very close attention to the room description. The differences between rooms may seem minimal, but the middle room in particular has almost no outside space or balcony. Instead, it had a small ‘patio’ set off to the side of the building (overlooking debris and not much else - see photo) without even a railing to hide either the bare concrete sides or cover a fairly substantial drop on one side. I can only imagine that it will look different in its finished form (and maybe even have a semblance of privacy), but I would not trust their website to let you know. ||||How far these issues will matter to you will of course depend on your preferences – for us, they happened to cause more disappointment than for others perhaps, based on what we’d hoped and planned for our night away. There is still a lot to like about the place, but it is hard to imagine going back...

I recommend it if you like nature, in the evening we could hear deers around 20m from the room, that was awesome!|And yes, if you have 4x4 car, you win.|Big and comfortable bed, all the textiles were made especially for them (even small bread baskets in the restaurant, amazing!).|The room was very cosy and cute, yet only a small dust bin in the bathroom which might not be enough when you travel with a baby, if you know what I mean. And little details which they could improve - they provide mugs and tea - very nice but a sponge and some detergent in the room to wash it up would be good too, it's not expensive. Washed out towels - maybe some colorful, which suit the colors of the room would be better?|In general, staff is very kind and they can provide almost everything you need for the baby. Hotel is well prepared and children friendly.|Restaurant...Slow food is reallly slow. All we did was waiting, whether for a breakfast or lunch. It was delicious but portions very small and you really have to wait a lot. |I would like to return some day to see another room and try something else from...
