Super place and we found it open in a cold April evening. On the menu there was a wide range of choice and the place is very nice, modern and friendly. Service was excellent the stuff very friendly. There was a TV and music too. I was not too hungry this time so I ordered a soup only which was great. My companion's favourite is fried cheese which is hard to find freshly made. This was absolutely fresh and tasty. He ordered extra Tartar sauce because most places give only a little. We were very surprised when the waitress brought the sauce in a medium sized salad bowl! It was so funny too. It was so tasty that I cannot remember eating this good recently. Food and service was all absolutely superb quality. We will be back and I recommend the place...

Great restaurant with friendly staff and awesome owner. We rented it for birthday party and everything was impeccable, the place was stylish and the dishes were exceptional. We even rented some rooms - the whole upper floor is very well renovated, with very clean rooms which were also quite well soundproofed (despite the live music downstairs our kid was able to sleep well in the room right above it). Occasionally I come back to Hungary to visit my family and the Vén Diófa was recommended as the place to go. I surprised my family with a dinner and I couldn’t have find a better place.
