Great and friendly service, delicious fish soup of which you can get free refills ad infinitum with bread and butter, coffee or tea included… by far the best, cheapest and most authentic meal we had in our trip through Iceland. A big plus is also that you can learn from the place: information about locals adorns the walls and historical tools and trinkets from fishermen and a collection of stones are available for all to see. We also split a yummy coconut cake. They let you have one free refill of the soup, so we each ate an entire bowl. We were craving it the rest of the week. We made a reservation to eat here at 8pm for 4ppl and walked in to find the place empty. Read moreThere are two main places in town to eat, both have good reviews. We chose this place. The fish soup was probably the best we ever tasted in our trip around Iceland, other than the langoustine soup.
The food was really delicious and the atmosphere inside is full of interesting trinkets and shells. They have a set up for live music inside along with lots of complimentary bread, butter and lemon water.
