This is one of three food trucks we found in the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon carpark next to the gift shop/cafe building. Menu is simple. They do up lamb and beef burgers, fries and pumpkin soup for vegetarians. Opening hours seem to be 12-5pm.
We found a short queue when we arrived shortly after noon but service was pretty quick and 10 minutes later we our burgers, both cooked medium, a fair amount of pink in centre. Importantly, they both tasted very good, especially the lamb burger with its distinct slightly flavour. Fries were just just fine. Prices fair for the portion size and burger quality. Read moreCame here initially because the restaurant across the street was closing. They highly recommend to try the burger. I didn't want a burger at first but was willing to try the lamb burger. When we ordered we spoke to the couple entrepreneurs and they were so kind! They were supposed to close at 20:00 but at 21:30 we could still order our burger. The taste was amazing. The combination of cranberry with brie and lamb meat was incredible. 7 more people were served after us and they just kept helping people rather than closing their burger van. I'm happy that the other restaurant was full so we could experience this burger....

Friends and fiancée had the fish and chips and said it was fantastic, I went a little later and he was out of fish, which this was disappointing, it also says something about the freshness of his fish! He uses fresh fish from a fisherman down at the docks here in town, no frozen fish for backup. Anyway, I had his veggie burger and it was also delicious, and his chips were perfect!
