This is a restaurant/cocktail bar, in fact when you cross the entrance the waitress would ask you right away if you’re there for the cocktails or for the restaurant part. The menu was in Icelandic but the waitress told us she would have translated it and she did. Their menu hadn’t main dishes but it was a tapas style that you can have more and share; so the menu is not really long, but the quality is supreme. I had the cod because my partner cose the salmon and I didn’t want to order the same as him (I like to share food) and let me tell you that I had the best cos of my life! 5 star price 2 star food 😕We ordered lamb and beef of the main course which are here almost 30% more expensive than in other places. The beef itself with Bernaise sauce tastes good but I doubt it was 200 g like it should be according to the menu. The lamb was vera dry and the sauce without a special taste. The side dish was almost not existing three little potatoes, one thumb big piece of broccoli and literally three leaves of micro green, with no special taste is shocking for that price. Nice place, about 10-12 tables, nice view up the mountain. Everything good so far, but: I have been on many places in the world having a lot of dishes but in this restaurant I had the best dish of my entire life, the cod fish on some kind of couscous with Chorizo and several sauces. Not because of the situation or the restaurant and atmosphere in total but because of the composition of the dish itself.
