My unforgettable experience at Cafe 4 on Havelock Island in the Andaman archipelago deserves a glowing review. From the moment I stepped into this charming café, it was evident that it wasn't just a place to enjoy a meal – it was a haven of warm hospitality and breathtaking views.
The culinary journey began with fish and chicken curries, accompanied by fragrant rice. The taste was nothing short of extraordinary, earning a resounding 5 out of 5. The flavors were a testament to the care and expertise invested in each dish.
However, what truly made this experience remarkable was the owner, Qutub, and his family. They greeted me with genuine warmth, making me feel like an honored guest in their own home. It was as if I was partaking in a hearty meal with friends. Their affable nature was a true highlight of my visit.
As I ventured upstairs, I discovered a surprise awaiting me – uniquely designed rooms with an industrial theme that exuded coziness. The allure of the room was so captivating that I found it hard to leave. It was a delightful blend of aesthetics and comfort that added an extra layer of magic to my stay.
Qutub's assistance went beyond the café. He proved to be an indispensable resource, helping me with everything from arranging cabs to the ferry point, booking scuba diving adventures, securing a sunrise kayaking session, and even organizing an elephant beach tour. His dedication to ensuring guests have a seamless experience was truly commendable.
The café's atmosphere was equally enchanting. Set against a backdrop of stunning views, including a serene pond, it provided the perfect ambiance to unwind and savor the island's beauty. It was a sensory treat, bringing together culinary delights and visual splendor.
In conclusion, Cafe 4 isn't just a café; it's a haven of warmth, taste, and care on Havelock Island. The scrumptious food, friendly family atmosphere, and cozy industrial-themed rooms set it apart. Qutub's unparalleled assistance in making my trip unforgettable speaks volumes about his commitment to his guests' satisfaction. Whether you're seeking a delectable meal, a comfortable stay, or assistance in exploring the island, Cafe 4 is the answer. My visit was a symphony of flavors, comfort, and hospitality that will resonate in my memory for a long time to come.

Read moreI visited the place with my family after a morning of trekking and water sports and was absolutely famished when I arrived here.
They provided an amazing service in the following regards: Wait staff: Very polite and receptive to your needs, this made me seem very comfortable and valued as a customer. Food: By far the best meal I had in my entire trip to the Andaman islands. Great taste, use of fresh ingredients, significant adjustments made to food which were aptly taken on and delivered(although this may not be possible on busy times), low wait times. Variety: Tried the following
a. Chicken fried rice: 4/5 only issue was that it was a little dry. Other than that the taste was great from the chicken to the rice to the accompanying sauces. b. Handi chicken with roti and jeera rice: 4.5/5. No complaints it was just a great dish. Great taste, soft chappatis and very flavourful jeera rice. Could not hate it if I wanted to. c. Chicken wings: 5/5 starter dish. This was the first dish that was served and I was extremely surprised by the taste and the default sauce that the wings were lathered in. Amazing starter and a definite must try if you visit here. d. Lemon tea: Ordered to satiate the variety and just check how this is served. Expectations were exceeded as it was almost close to a perfect blend. 5/5 for sure.
4.Cost: The prices would seem on the medium pricey side for a few dishes, however for the service they provide it definitely...
Read moreOne of the worst cafe that I have come across. It took them 1 hour and 15 mins to serve the soup inspite of restaurant just being 60% full and not 100% that couldn’t understand why the service needs to be so slow. Had ordered for Palak soup, veg hot n sour & veg manchow soup for 6 of us and to my shock the chef/cook didn’t know the difference between veg manchow and hot n sour soup and had given manchow soup for all of us inspite of they making customers write their order on a small notepad. When we requested them to give hot n sour soup so they informed that this what the chef knows so can’t be changed to hot n sour and ultimately had to ask them to take it back what they claimed hot n sour soup. Owner was around so we requested the server to pls call the owner so that we can speak to him regarding the slow service and the incapability of the chef to make a simple hot n sour soup however the owner refused to come to us inspite of looking at us from few tables away. Had ordered pizza for main course and it was too too loaded with cheese and hardly had any veggies on it inspire of ordering a veg pizza. It Looked n tasted like the roadside pizza that is sold on carts in metro cities. Word of caution : pls don’t go there by the fancy pics on the net as the only thing good about this place is the ambience and interiors however would rate -10/5 (Minus ten on 5) on food and service given their incapable chef and very very...
