Area 51 - The café hideout — Restaurant in Andhra Pradesh

Excellent food and plating by Vizag standards. The casual sophisticated vibe is spot on. Service is prompt. We had the guacamole on toast, chicken caesar salad, kunafa prawns, grilled barbeque chicken, eggs benedict and affogato. I am going to be a little nit-picky because I liked the place and I feel that there's potential for better. Ketchup as a topping on guacamole!! Why? A little more zing (garlic and lemon) in the caesar salad, perhaps? Crisper croutons... A little more zing (mustard and lemon) on the eggs benedict, perhaps? I understand that certain kinds of bacon may not be easily available or cost effective, and I am NOT complaining; that a cafe in Vizag serves bacon is a pleasant surprise in itself. But you served crispy bacon inside the eggs benedict and offered a butter knife to eat it with. How is this supposed to work, exactly? Either you procure Canadian bacon which can be cut with a butter knife, OR you serve the crispy bacon as a side to the eggs benedict so that I can eat the bacon with my fingers, OR you serve the dish with steak knives. It was really difficult to eat the dish you served, the whole table shook while I tried to cut through the layers and my egg yolk spilt all over my plate. Menu needs some red meat, please. Lamb at the very least. Please make delivery options available, even if it is for a limited...

Away from the hustle bustle of the city, this place is situated in the IT SEZ area and really justifies its name (hideout). They have great ambiance all around both interior and exterior with cozy seating setup to even host larger groups. They also have some pretty lights setup for the outdoor seating and it looks pretty cool for clicking some pictures but most of the time its crowded outside. They have decent amount of parking place available at the property and also have a separate area for hosting private events. There are some house games available like chess, ludo, etc and some books to read while you are here. And this is a self service place so you gotta place your order at the counter and wait for your order to be delivered to you table.

The coffees are good and you can chose from the various options they have on the menu. They also have some special drinks listed up on the Special of the day menu. However the food is a disappointment here and that is a huge let down. If you are looking for good food to go along with the ambiance then this is not the right place for you as you will be disappointed with their food quality. Would only recommend this place for coffees and not more than that.

It's a very lovely place with a very good ambiance and in a good area which is big enough to accommodate people. Food over here is tasty. Just that people should be trained more about food relating matters as I've ordered for pasta which is fusilli and I got penna as order which was bit disappointing on their part and felt like they aren't trained some minimum basic things. Besides that prices are reasonable and affordable. Can visit this place for some good loving ambiance and food. There is separate smoking zone allowed for people who can smoke which is there outside. A very good variety of items on menu are there for customers. Those who love ambiance and peaceful atmosphere can make their visit to this place. They have few hand games like chess Ludo and business for a gang of people to entertain. Overall satisfied with this place and for the food over here. Can be better in...
