D Cabanna — Restaurant in Andhra Pradesh

Two days back that's 26th i went there for dinner, cause some people told me they are best at their service and food. But I experienced the worst ever. I do like to disclose what was happened that day. I went there with 6no. of my friends we waited more than 20 minutes none came to us to take order, after that we waited another half an hour to get our first starters dish that too she didn't serve on plates, left them on table with serving bowl with no fork or spoon, infact she thrown on table, we thought she must be busy with other tables as well we excused her, after few minutes she brought remaining starters, she did the same thing again she didn't serve, we asked for serving, here the interesting part while serving she shipped the food on table while we are watching she took that food to our plates and kept in front of me, after we asked her about that she taken that food out of the plate and went. We asked them to change the waitress for our table they changed, another waitress came and served remaining, and we have one vegitarian in order group, he have not yet received his starters, we had to have food without giving him company cause we were so hungry that time, he was sitting waiting, we had our starters still he didn't get his, she brought our main course directly along with his, we asked we didn't receive our veg. starters yet then she brought that immediately, we thought it wasn't prepared by the time but actually they forgot to bring as they made him wait till then. However we finished the dinner, she came to take plates while we are sitting she was talking the plates over us. That time she poured some ritha on my shirt form the plate. First they should be careful or take the plates after we left. I didn't ask them anything about that i had to wipe with tissue paper. Here nothing was accident everything is recklessness purely recklessness. You "D Cabanna" we were may be the100th customer for that tablet that day but for us that's our first table for that day and last, you are supposed to give your best service not worst...

To add to the disappointment, the portion of prawns in the dish was noticeably minimal, especially considering the hefty price tag attached.

The disparity between the cost and the quantity of prawns was a major drawback, leaving me questioning the value for money at this establishment. A dining experience should be satisfying both in terms of taste and portion size, and unfortunately, this visit failed on both fronts.

In conclusion, my overall impression of this restaurant is one of disappointment. While I understand that individual tastes may vary, the issues with the sweet corn soup, ambience, biryani, and portion sizes were significant enough to warrant this review. This is a decent restaurant for both families and just a group of friends who'd like to hang out by the side of the shore while having some food. Talking about the food, it was just above average. The soup wasn't so good, chicken starters were okay, the chilli loose prawns was the only outstanding dish.

The best part about this restaurant is that it is one the few restaurants in Vizag that is located on the shore of the beach and that makes the ambience great especially in the evenings, with cold breeze flowing around while you are spending quality time. It has both indoor and outdoor seating options. The outdoor seating could have been better, wasn't too comfy. The service was decent.
