My visit to this restaurant was a culinary journey filled with delightful flavors and a diverse range of dishes that left me thoroughly satisfied.

For breakfast, I had the eye-catching Rasam Idly, a dish that not only tasted exceptional but was beautifully presented. The flavors of the rasam and the soft idly complemented each other perfectly, making it a memorable morning meal.

At lunch, I indulged in the flavors of Andhra cuisine with the Kodi Vepudu and Fry Piece Biryani. The Kodi Vepudu, with its spicy and aromatic chicken preparation, was a spicy delight for my taste buds. The Fry Piece Biryani was a fragrant and flavorful dish that lived up to its reputation.

My brother opted for the Veg Thali and was thoroughly impressed. The variety and quality of the dishes in the thali left him craving for more.

When it came to desserts, the Apricot Delight, Coconut Caramel Custard, and Double Ka Meetha with Vanilla were absolute winners. Each dessert had its unique appeal, and the sweet endings to our meals were a perfect conclusion to our dining experience.

I stayed at this hotel when I visited Mopidevi on 26 Jan 2024. First of all, the location of this hotel is super convinient as it is just outside the Mopidevi village border (only 2 kms away from the Shri Subhramaneswara temple) located on the Machilipatnam state highway.

Best Observations :

There is ample open & free parking infront of the hotel, where close to 20 to 25 cars can be parked easily. This hotel has an inhouse restraunt located at the ground floor and all kinds of food i.e. south Indian, North Indian are available. The rooms are super big (much bigger than the premier hotels) and can accommodate upto 4 to 5 people easily. The washrooms are super clean. The view of the paddy fields and the sun setting down from the room is nostalgic, as the paddy fields are located just backside of the hotel. Security guard available 24x7 near parking area in case you are coming over from the temple in the early hours of the day i.e. between 1AM to 5 AM.

Things that can be improved: The smell of the rooms can be made better before someone enters. Better pest control. The bathroom tiles were sometimes slippery and thus something can be improved here. The housekeeping service needs improvement. The corridoors can be better...

During our visit to the Mopidevi temple with my family, we initially planned to go to Vijayawada for a better stay since there were no luxury options nearby. However, just 5 minutes from the temple, I noticed this hotel. I inquired about room availability and met Vishwa, who explained that bookings would start tomorrow. But seeing our situation, he kindly arranged a room for us.

From that moment on, I received outstanding treatment as the first guest at S Vihar. The staff's warm hospitality and willingness to assist with any request were exceptional. The hotel room has it best view from the windows and with modern amenities and extremely clean.

The dining experience at the hotel's restaurant was a delight. The chef's dishes were both delicious and elegantly presented, and the waitstaff was knowledgeable and attentive.
