Kakinada Subbayya Gari Hotel Vijayawada — Restaurant in Andhra Pradesh

I have taken parcel of special butta bhojanam which costed me 500 bucks and said sufficient for 3 people. I have got 1 sweet, 2 flavoured rice(pulihora and panasakaya biryani), 1 dal, 2 curries(drumstick curry, gongura Lotus seeds curry), roti pachadi,1 fry(cabbage fry) sambar, rasam,3 curd packets, chips,1 ghee pkt, 1 podi pkt. Verdict: Not to the standards of their name. There are a lot of mess out there in Vijayawada which offers better food than this so called subbayya gari hotel. Utterly disappointed with the experience. While taking the order they said in special butta bhojanam will get 2 types of sweets but got only one type of 4 pc. Last time when I have taken mini butta got 2 ghee pkt which is for 2persons. Spl butta is for 3 persons still got 1ghee pkt. Tried to reach hotel but as usual they don't pick the call

Details review of each as follows: Starters: Pulihora -- Tasted ok. Not so great Panasakaya biryani-- worst taste. Tasted like chilly rice with panasakaya pieces Sweet: I don't know the name of it and tasted ok Main course: White rice-- looks cooked properly and tasted decently Dal -- liked the taste and it is good. Gongura Lotus seeds curry-- ok ok taste. Didn't like it much Drumstick curry-- tasted ok. Cabbage fry-- it's not at all crispy. With lot of oil coming out of it. Sambar-- this one is my favourite. We had lunch,dinner and online delivery as well here in Vijayawada.To be frank,we are fed up with 2 or 3 meal maker fries/curries they always prepare. Its horrible that they serve same items always easy ones that too repeatedly.Dhal always tastes like pure dhal though they change name of it like tomato etc..All curries are of masala which effected us that spicyness especially.There is no novelty at all in food i can say surely its not of high quality.Tiffins/other items are over priced like dosa,utappam etc.They should retain their place like original kakinda branch which is good.One thing to appreciate sincerely is they make big size boorelu which we often buy for their quality and panaskaya biryani they make its good but over priced .They also make flavoured rices which are horrible for their price they charge .They should be reduced a lot for their quality.Servers are trained to treat people well their attention mainly, we are good with it.There are other hotels and these people are also becoming like them in terms of food taste etc. they should know how to make people come again and again not only once and get good feedback mainly considering vegetarians.Lasty it has to retain good name...

ordered butta bojanam for 2 ... WORSSST meal ever consumed ... even a road side 50 rs meal would hv been better ..... the portion was barely sufficient for one person ... let alone 2 people .... and the curries i cant even start to describe how pathetic they were ...

beetroot fry was full of ginger ... roti pachadi was not good .... pachi pulsu was full of turmeric and nothing else ... sambhar was not good ....

only good item was curd because it was a curd packcet from vijaya and not made by subbayya hotel ....

i thought subbayya was known for their taste and their way of serving us a bit more even though we were full ...... but gone are those days ....

on swiggy the customer support said the hotel standardised the food portion ... well the hotel should be ashamed becoz i shell out nearly 420 bucks and get a product worth nearly 50-60 rs maxxx

never gonna order again from subbayyaa .... better to go for ramaiah ... aritaaku ...

this marks the beginning of the downfall of subbayya hotel ... mark my words ... u dont deserve all the good will and faith from customers

ps : i wish i had known how to make foodvlogs ... so that this reaches much...
