Waste of Time, Money and Management had lack of Food Knowledge over this particular recipe from the state of TamilNadu. Please Avoid

We ordered 3 Items. Barbecue Chicken as Starter Chettinad Chicken with Butter Naan Regular Kunda Chicken Biryani.

First they served the appetiser - ‘Barbecue Chicken’ which was good.

And after that REAL CINEMA starts.

We almost waited for 50min to get our main course. That too they bring all the 3 items at a time..🙄😳🤷, by that time the Butter Naan was saggy and highlight was “Chettinad Chicken” looks in green colour. Total shock to me….🙄🙄

Then I said to the floor people it’s not Chettinad Chicken it’s Palak chicken or it might be Green chicken actually, and moreover it’s full of watery. But they still argued with me it’s a Chettinad chicken.

Ohh man, then I said you can’t lie/try to manage/convince to a local Chettinad people on their Authentic dish, who eats very regularly and every week of their lifestyle.

If the Chef don’t know the recipe of Chettinad Chicken, dear management please change the dish name to Green Chicken🤣 then its look perfect.👌

Located in the 4th floor of old ratna talkies building beside RELIANCE TRENDS.easily identifiable being located on main road leading to burripalem and infront of rythu bazar. Lift facility available. Parking available for 2&4 wheelers infront of building. Wheel chair accessible entrance is not available because one need to take around 10 steps for reaching lift. Ambience is just good and environment is noisy without peace. Comparitively other restaurants are good in this aspect even when crowded. I ordered biryani, crispy corn, mint mojito and cooldrink. Biryani and crispy corn were of no taste other than chilly. Over spiced and too oily. Quantity is sufficient in plastic bowl for one. Mint mojito is too sweet with less mint. Prices are moderate for main course and heavy for starters. Icecreams were also available now at normal cost. Receptionist at counter is polite and sweet. Not sure why Waiters and other staff are serious without any smile on their face. Can be more polite...

I visited NGKB a couple of times with my family for lunch but I was never disappointed like i did for my recent visit. I generally go with regular items from Menu, but for a change this time I ordered mutton soup and Nalli Ghosh Biryani from daily specials, and I am not satisfied with the quantity and quality of soup for the price they charged. And for the Nallis Ghosh Biryani they did not mention its a family size which comes with a mutton keema and Butter Naan due to which we ordered one more biryani and ended up making it take away. Mutton keema tastes fine but the Nalli Gosh curry is (0/5), there is no taste in meat at all which served along with biryani rice. The service and atmosphere is good but I am not at all happy with the food taste for the price I paid. The prices are too high for the food being served.
