RK Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Andhra Pradesh

Good 🙂. I should say the best in Machilipatnam. Seating is good , upto 6 people can sit together. Not much sophisticated as the other branch of this restaurant. You will find a mob here during the peak hours especially on weekends, so plan accordingly. Food is served in buffet plate and disposal glass is used for water (Due to Covid). Coming to food, you cannot find many varieties all the days. Depends on the day you visit the menu changes. You may query the barrer for this. Basic varieties like biryani, nons are available daily. Food is good yummy ... The best course here I would prefer is butter nons with butter chicken and biryani (all types available). I didn't try any deserts, may be they are not available. After having a nice meal, we have to suffer to pay bills. No phone pay nor Google pay is available. You have to pay using...

Not sure why people of Masula are crazy about “R” branded chain of restaurants. I went there more than five times while visiting this place for business purposes.

The Good Stuff: AC restaurant. Food item portions are more than enough for one person to eat. Taste is mediocre to OK.

The Bad Stuff: The place is overcrowded all the time. Hand washing areas and bathrooms are filthy and not fit for an AC restaurant. Dining tables and floor are dirty. The place has very dim lighting (similar to a bar) and not appropriate to label it as a “family” restaurant. Two people from the same group are made to sit side by side (wtf…). Some other person or group will sit in-front of you. How can you talk to your friend/family if they sit side by side?

Food is okay....but service so BAD.....they make visitors( tourists) for too long...we were 7 members and they made us wait almost an hour and serving after order it took another 30 min...none of the sea food was available..we had to eat the chicken and most of the items we ordered weren't available...this was at the peak hour...worst part was billing rates were hiked from the printed menu and we weren't informed of that...they miscalculated the dishes we order and added unnecessary 300 rupees to the bill...which we had to discuss to get it off....despite of mentioning they still didn't cancel the extra charges...they even switched off the AC in the extremely hot weather.
