Venkateswara Nithya Annadanam Endowment Scheme was started by T.T.Devasthanams on 6-4-1985 with serving of free food to 2,000 pilgrims per day at Tirumala by the then Hon’ble Chief Minister of A.P. Sri Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao garu.
The scheme was transformed into an independent trust by name “SRI VENKATESWARA NITHYA ANNADANAM TRUST” with effect from 1-4-1994.The Executive Officer, T.T.D is the Chairman to the Trust. The name of the Trust has been changed as “SRI VENKATESWARA ANNAPRASADAM TRUST” w.e.f. 1-04-2014.
This trust is being run with the donations received from Devotees / Donors from all over the world. The trust deposited all the donations in nationalized banks and the interest accrued on it is being utilized to meet the expenditure of the trust.
Acknowledgement, Income Tax Exemption Certificate under {80(G) 50%} & Donor pass books will be issued to the eligible donors.
Prior to June, 2008, Tokens are being issued to the pilgrims in side Sri Vari Tirumala Temple who had darshan for taking Annaprasadams.

Every day 10,000 Litters of Milk is being procured and serving in V.Q.C.-I & II for waiting pilgrim in compartments and also in Divya Darshan Complex, Sarvadarsan Complex, Rs.300/- Special Entry Complex, Kalyana Katha Complex Tirumala.
In V.Q.C I & II beverages and food will be served to the pilgrims with an interval of every 3 hours who are waiting in the compartments.
During the following auspicious days, Trust is serving more than 2,00,000 Pilgrims per day.
1st January (New years day) Vaikunta Ekadasi Rathasapthami Sri T.T. Garuda Seva Every day,10 to 12 Tons of Rice at Tirumala and 1.75 Tons of Rice is being used at Tirupati.
