Domino's Pizza | Noonmati, Guwahati — Restaurant in Assam

I am writing to formally raise a serious complaint regarding my order placed on 10/08/2025 at around 4:00 PM* through Swiggy (Order No. #213794382432882 & Domino's Order 82). As the "Cash on Delivery" option was unavailable, I made the full payment at the time of placing the order.

Shortly after, I received a call from Domino’s stating that the order could not be delivered due to the delivery address being too far. I immediately requested cancellation, as I was unable to cancel it from my end.

However, even after six hours, neither Domino’s cancelled the order nor did the Swiggy helpline provide any resolution. Instead, the helpline team directed me to contact Domino’s directly, which proved unhelpful.

On 12/08/2025, the order status was updated to show “Delivered,” despite the fact that I never received the food. This is a clear case of misrepresentation and possible fraudulent activity, which is unacceptable.

This experience has caused significant inconvenience and reflects poorly on the service. If delivery is not possible, the system should allow customers to cancel the order instantly and receive a prompt refund. Disabling the cancellation option in such cases is unfair...

The delivery boy denied his duty to deliver pizza to place of delivery, grounds mentioned by him was that rain water logging on the road. He lie to us and his store manager. Since we book the order for our dinner and booked the order around 10pm and asked our family members not to cook. When the delivery boy denied his duty, it was shocking for us. We asked the store to make the pizza ready for pickup, and we went their and found that there wasn't any sorts of water logging on the road. We went by motorcycle only. This was one of worse service rendered by Domino's. We went their and had a good chat with store manager about the no water logging on the road. He told us that Sir you please return back, we will deliver the order. This was such worst service one can get. Even Pizza we ordered was not properly garnished. Absolutely horrible experience with Domino's Noonmati store! I placed my order at 7 PM, and by 8:30 PM it showed "out for delivery." I waited patiently, but at 9 PM, I got a call from the store manager telling me they couldn't deliver my order because of some oven issue. Are you kidding me?

First of all, why wait until after two hours to inform me of an issue that was obviously ongoing? If there was an oven problem, they should have contacted me right away, not left me waiting, hungry and frustrated, expecting an order that would never arrive. It’s unbelievable how poorly managed this location is. If they can’t fulfill orders, they should shut down rather than wasting people's time.

Domino’s, this is unacceptable – customer service should be a priority, not an afterthought. I won't be ordering from this store again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values their time...
