Juihal. The Ethnic Kitchen — Restaurant in Assam

Juihal was a wonderful discovery on Google Maps. We were looking for a place to have Assamese thali on the way and went solely by Google reviews.

Tupula Bhat was served with yam soup, fried potatoes, koldil bhaji, mix veg, dal, aloo pitika, pani-tenga, fish chutney and fresh lemons and pork fry (ordered separately) The thali was great in taste with ample portions of every item and side dishes. The yam soup and pani-tenga were exceptionally good.

A definite recommendation for anyone looking for tribal Assamese Thali..

Good Food... Good people

Probably, one of the best ethnic kitchen in Axom, if not then, at least in upper Axom. I am a regular customer at their restraurent. What fascinates me, is the friendly/homely behavior of the owner and staff along very good quality and quantity of authentic, exotic ethnic food served. The best part is that, you can customize your dish and they will not disappoint you at all. I have tried almost all the recipes in their restraurent. Each time I visit them, they stand up beyond my expectations and I have a happy stomach (hehe). First of all the food is good and of pure taste . You can smell the tradition out of the food noatter what you choose to eat. Especially pork recipes. Secondly the price is good reasonable not to high . I would have rate it 5star if the prices could be slightly low. Thirdly the behaviour of the staff is good 👍 and you can order the food in advance till you reach there . Their response to any order...
