KFC — Restaurant in Assam

I recently visited KFC Diphu and ordered a Zinger burger, chicken bucket, fries, and Pepsi. The food was served hot and fresh, which is always a plus. The quality was good, but the taste was somewhat average, not too spicy, and nothing that stood out as exceptional. The service was decent and efficient, and the staff were polite. I opted for takeaway, and while the food was packed quickly, the packaging itself was a letdown. The drinks leaked halfway through my journey home, which made things messy. Better packaging would definitely improve the overall experience. Cleanliness-wise, the outlet was spotless. The seating arrangement and overall vibe seemed good, even though the place was a bit crowded during my visit. However, when it comes to value for money, I wouldn’t say it’s worth the price. The food doesn’t quite match the cost, and there weren’t any special offers or combos available at the time either. Would I go back? Yes, but mostly out of convenience. I am very disappointed with the poor customer service I experienced at KFC Diphu. Despite standing at the counter for 2-3 minutes, none of the three staff members, who were only a few meters away, offered assistance. I left without placing an order.

Adding to my disappointment, the value for money at KFC Diphu is extremely poor. A ₹1000+ order yielded only 2-3 ketchup packets and partially torn napkins, a stark contrast to the generous condiments provided by street vendors for much smaller orders. The superior quality and deals at the new Smallplate fried chicken outlet explain the shift in customer preference.
