The Yellow Tree Cafe — Restaurant in Assam

A must visit. Go on... don’t be put off by the narrow, crammed, winding, dusty street that leads to this rocking cafe in Lower Parel. Walk in and wham! Daylight bathed expanse of space, exposed brick walls, sturdy woodentables, a smattering of sofas, book racks, a large open bar and a pastry and deli counter charm. food is not about fanciful conceit or adornment but the focus is on simplicity and on enchancing the centerpiece ingredient. The clean taste of the large bowl of Clear Chicken Broth with Matzo Balls; the fluffy and light Scrambled Eggs; Chicken Grilled to moist perfection; and Fish in Brown Butter and Almonds delight. Plenty for veggies too. The pasta is tasty and not stodgy. Do ask for the recently additions. Light and right Crème Brûlee and Panna Cotta, superb cheesecake too. the Hollandaise Sauce with the Salmon Wellington was unnecessary and they ran out of tiramisu. It is international, cool, informal (Wi-fi too). The service can get slow, but we love the way the proportions are fine-tuned, flavours sharpened and the accent is on comfort food...

interior is good... decent customers & service boys r good . but , food is not upto mark , specially chicken Biryani . coffe was just ok.... could have been better , although , cold coffee is good but the flavour was missing . chicken chowmein was better . iam just giving the place three star because of its cleanliness . otherwise , food was below average . my advice- hire a good chef and just don,t run the place depending upon some untrained cook . thats my opinion coz i had eaten far more better...

One of the fine open air restuarant in and around Diphu. A high end restuarant with continental as well as Chinese and Indian dishes. The rrsturant is located at the heart of the Diphu Town, a little outskirt of the market area. The hygiene, food quality and taste in the restuatant is great!.
