We had visited trinka for food alone (No liquor :-p). We ordered fried rice, rotti and varieties of chinese chicken delicacies. The food was good, not too good, but was reasonably good. Taste was nice and the ambience of the restaurant is cool. It is situated on the left side of NH (When you are going towards Kolkata) and provides car parking for at least 10 cars. And the most important thing, price was quite reasonable. I have not visited the Bar, but many two wheelers were seen going to the backside of the building and I expect them to be visiting the bar. I specifically said two wheelers because the frequency of two wheelers coming and going indicate that the bar is locally well known and may not be advisable to couples. However, the bar is somewhere behind the building and will in no way affect your visit to the restaurant. Hence, the restaurant is good for family visits and it can easily be traced when you are driving through the Highway. Ample vehicle parking space, reasonable food quality, reasonable price point and importantly, being very near to highway, u can consider it as a pit stop when you are coming to Kolkata.
