Located in the heart of Baruipur, West Bengal, Bedwin Restaurant is a gem for those seeking a blend of authentic local flavors and a comfortable dining experience. The restaurant has built a strong reputation for its homely atmosphere and warm hospitality, offering a variety of dishes that cater to both traditional Bengali cuisine lovers and those with a penchant for North Indian and Chinese food.
Ambiance The ambiance at Bedwin is cozy and unpretentious, with simple décor that feels welcoming. It’s not overly flashy, but the warm lighting and spacious seating arrangements make it a perfect spot for family gatherings or casual dinners. The service is attentive without being overbearing, and the staff are generally friendly and prompt.
Food The highlight of Bedwin Restaurant is undoubtedly its food. The menu is diverse, featuring a range of Bengali, North Indian, and Chinese dishes. The Bengali thali is a standout, packed with rich, flavorful dishes that are prepared with great attention to detail. The machher jhol (fish curry) and shorshe ilish (hilsa in mustard sauce) are excellent examples of the restaurant’s ability to capture the essence of Bengali home cooking.
For those craving something outside of Bengali fare, the chicken kebabs, butter chicken, and fried rice are flavorful choices. The Chinese section of the menu also doesn’t disappoint, with chili chicken and sweet corn soup receiving praise from regular customers.
The portions are generous, and the food is consistently fresh, making it a good value for money. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity served.

Read moreWORST RESTAURANT EVER!! Literally the quality is the worst that money can buy. We, a group of 5 people went to dine in, waited for a long time to get seated(that I don't complain about it). Then we are seated. I don't know how this restaurant gets 1.6k reviews. There is no dedicated table for a group of 5. A person had to sit on the aisle. Then comes the food. You will get cutlery with stains from previous dining, food with HAIRS in it. They do not even give glass as complementary. Food doesn't even taste that good. Better can be bought for a less sum. The table in which we were seated didn't even have a fan, we were sweating.
Overall, avoid this restaurant at any cost. The place lacks hygiene. You would not expect hair in your food. The...
Read moreThe hotel is inside the basement which is supposed to be the parking for the Building, the kitchen is very stinky and badly managed, I ordered a biryani which was tasteless with a half piece of potato and one large piece of chicken 🍗, nothing extra you will get only dry biryani if you ask for a little curry then be ready for a line of questions and extra payment. I am personally against wasting food but here I did not touch the Egg and chikan thanks to the great taste, also I was worried about the food hygiene but as I was very hungry I took the risk. Might be good for locals but in case you are an outsider please do not even enter here you will start hating the real...
