🌟 Food Review: Bhookemon, Baruipur – A Hidden Culinary Gem! 🌟 By - SAGNIK CHOWDHURY. If you’re in Baruipur and haven’t visited Bhookemon, you’re truly missing out on one of the best dining experiences in South Kolkata. This place is a paradise for food lovers, combining mouthwatering flavors with a quirky, Pokémon-inspired ambiance that stands out instantly.
🍛 Food: Every dish here bursts with bold spices and creativity. Whether you go for their signature "Bhooke Bowl" combos, fiery Dragon Chicken, or creamy Butter Chicken Pasta Fusion, you’re in for a treat. The fusion menu is a game-changer — Indian classics meet global street food with perfect balance. Vegetarians will love their Cheesy Paneer Bombs and Chilli Mushroom Wraps. Every item feels freshly made and generously portioned.
🍹 Drinks & Sides: Don’t miss out on their refreshing Virgin Mojito, or the spicy-tangy twist of their Masala Cola. Side dishes like the Tandoori Momo and Loaded Nachos complement the mains beautifully.
🧑🍳 Service & Vibes: The staff are super-friendly, helpful, and genuinely passionate about food. The interior is clean, cool, and filled with fun Pokémon art – perfect for clicking Instagram-worthy pictures. Service is prompt and well-managed even during peak hours.
💸 Price: Affordable and absolutely worth it. Portion sizes are satisfying, and every rupee feels well spent.

Read moreYesterday evening, I, accompanied by my consort and a close confidant, patronized the establishment known as Vokemon Restaurants for our nocturnal repast.
The prevailing milieu of the restaurant was remarkably salubrious and tranquil, creating an inviting atmosphere. The carte du jour presented a veritable cornucopia of culinary selections, affording us a plethora of options from which to choose. We ultimately procured two disparate varieties of kebabs and a duo of sizzlers. We found the gustatory profile of each preparation to be exquisitely palatable to our collective senses. However, there were aspects that attenuated our overall satisfaction. The remuneration demanded was, in our estimation, egregiously exorbitant vis-à-vis the quantum of sustenance provided. Furthermore, a conspicuous and protracted delay was observed between the placement of our order and the eventual arrival of the victuals at our table. This temporal lag was noticeably longer when benchmarked against the normative celerity of service at comparable establishments.
In summation, while the gastronomic excellence and the aesthetic ambiance render it a commendable venue, our experience was somewhat diminished by the aforementioned considerations. An amelioration in the price-to-portion parity and the languid pace of service would undoubtedly elevate the entire dining sojourn to a truly...

Requesting the management to keep an eye, as the standard is decreasing day by day. Today's experience Service - the server is non co operative and rushing us on eveything. 1st he argued on the drinks order and then tried putting up the main course , even before we finished our starters. Used dinner plates not cleared from the table even after 15 minutes. Food (we ordered:-) Drinks - The chilly drink (forget the name) is fantastic, but Shirley temple is not authentic in taste. Chicken malai tikka - Good, but not the same taste as we get earlier. Bengali Fish Fry - Very bad portion size. Damn costly (Fish used is basa) Basanti Pulao - disaster. Uneatable , thus have to order naan. Mutton Kassa - Good Chicken Changezi - Tastes good but three big pieces of bone from which flesh has been taken out for Chinese section. Butter Naan - as usual Fried Ice cream - very good. One portion is enough for three.
I still keep the 5* rating as this is the only negative experience during my 7 visits , but if this occurs again then I have to think twice before visiting them again.
At last a fine dinning restaurant in Baruipur. A fine dinning in true meaning; everything is class. Food is lippsmacking good, ambience is awsome, but the best part is the behaviour of the service staffs. Strictly...
