Chickpet Donne Biriyani House is a non-vegetarian restaurant located in Nagondanahalli, Whitefield. It is not easily accessible through public transport. The nearest bus stop (Channasandra) is almost 2km from this place.
The place is of good hygiene. They do not have washroom facility for customers. The ambiance is good. They have placed photographs of Kannada film industry personalities in their restaurant. At a time the place can accommodate around 30 people. It takes up to 5-10 mins to get your order to the table depending on the rush. They have option for dine-in, take away, and online orders too.
About the food, it varied every time I visited this place. Some days it tastes so good and delicious, some days just average and under cooked chicken. So one cannot completely predict this, I can say it depends on your luck for the day. The items are good on an average with pretty affordable cost. They have mentioned Rotis in their menu but sometimes they don't have it. They have egg, chicken, and mutton items in the menu. Their special chicken donne biriyani is a good item to try (I liked it). They have made certain dishes look fancy by adding cashews to it. And some items they over cook on the stove and thus have a smoky smell when you eat (even though the item shouldn't be smelling smoky). The quantity is good for every biriyani serve (it depends on the size of the donne too). It will fill your stomach. They have options for soft drinks, pulpy grape juice as beverages. You can also get packaged drinking water here (cold/normal).
Overall it is a good place for people living around Nagondanahalli to have...

I visited there with my wife yesterday. Even though the time is mentioned ad 6:30 PM, this restaurant opens only at 7:00 PM.
He has a variety of dum biriyani options. 1 plate dum biriyani alone will fillup stomach. After we ordered, we were expecting 1 plate to be less so we ordered 2 plates, later we packed one plate home as we has less appetite.
What to order? This depends on your food choice. We love dum biriyani. We had also read about the juicy kabab. Yes he puts good bone pieces in kabab and avoids the ribcage that is becoming common in other restaurants. We loved the kabab we ate.
I was prompted by the high rating of the restaurant. But after eating there, I think this is the best dum biriyani in Bangalore.
Place has good ambience. If they keep up the same taste and quality, they have the potential to become a very...
ย ย ย Read moreThis place came recommended by my friend. Tried biryani rice, chicken fry and chicken kebab dishes from here and the taste was amazing. One of the best non-veg meals which brings the best feeling after having it.
1.) Flavour and Aroma of the biryani rice was good. 2.)Being Doctor didn't feel like baking soda is added and was able to complete full rice. 3.) The chicken fry was spicy and had boneless pieces in it. 4.) The mutton fry had peppery notes to it and the meat was tender. 5.) Raitha was good.
From jeera rice to chicken fry to mutton fry, the taste is too good๐๐
