Cardamom Kerala Restaurant — Restaurant in Bengaluru

We visited this hotel on 9th November 2025 afternoon with family. Though the entrance looked a bit dull and the steps were not clean, we decided to give it a try and went up to the second floor. After settling at a table, we placed our order and waited patiently for over 50 minutes — but nothing was served.

During this time, two more families arrived. One family left after 10 minutes as no one came to take their order. The other family managed to place their order but waited more than 40 minutes; they were served just one dish and kept waiting for the curry, which never came. They too left disappointed, without having their meal. Shockingly, the staff didn’t seem to care when customers walked out.

Finally, I had to go to the kitchen and raise my voice. Only then was the food served — after another 10 minutes. The food was very average, and two of the dishes we ordered were never delivered. Instead, we were served one dish we hadn’t ordered. Since everyone was hungry, we just ate whatever came and left.

It was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. We chose this restaurant based on the reviews, hoping to enjoy authentic Kerala coastal food — but it turned out to be a huge...

I've tried a lot of restaurants in the area, but this one stands out. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, they make you feel like you're part of the family. The food is delicious and affordable, I love the homemade dishes on the menu. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, it's a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.
