Davanagere Mirchi Masala 2011 — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Davanagere Mirchi Masala is a great spot for evening snacks and "kuruk tindi" (crispy snacks). I had the chance to try their Girmit, Mirchi Bajji, Heerekai Bajji, Masala Vada and Jelebi - all of which were quite tasty and satisfying. The flavors were authentic and the snacks were freshly prepared.

They also offer a wide variety of other snacks like Khara mixture, Oggarane Mandakki, Capsicum Bajji, Oggarane Avalakki and many more local specialties. It's a paradise for anyone who enjoys North Karnataka style street food.

The only downside is the parking, it’s located on a busy road and finding a spot can be a bit of a challenge. As for cleanliness, the place is decently maintained and for a street-side food point, it’s cleaner than most.

Usually evenings I snack here. You get variety of puffed rice items, varieties of flavourful bajji, bondas. There's much more! Mixtures, ground nut masala, Jalebi, rotti, chutney pudi, boondi, different sweets, Sev as well. There's special masala with onion, tomato, coriander salad makes it even more tastier.
