⭐ 1/5 Review – Very Disappointing Experience We visited Koco Restaurant yesterday with family after booking our slot in the backyard area. Despite our prior booking, we were asked to wait for 30 minutes to 1 hour. While waiting, we ordered mint juice and shockingly found ants inside the drink. When we informed the waiter, he casually said, “Because of the coconut trees, ants will be there,” and initially refused to replace it which was very unprofessional.

Later, after taking permission from one staff member to play light music, another staff rudely approached us mid-meal saying, “Who gave you permission for the speaker?” and repeatedly confronted us even though the speaker was already turned off. His arrogant behavior and tone were completely unacceptable, especially when we were there with family. We then spoke to the manager, who confirmed that music is indeed allowed, but when we tried to call him again in front of the waiter, he ignored our calls. The staff clearly lack proper training, communication, and basic hospitality manners. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had from poor service and unhygienic drinks to rude staff behavior. I had the pleasure of dining at Koco restaurant , and what truly elevated the entire experience was the outstanding service provided by Akhil.

From the moment we arrived, Akhil greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel truly welcome. He was incredibly attentive, polite, and knowledgeable about the menu. He patiently guided us through the chef’s specials, gave honest recommendations, and made sure every dietary preference was noted and respected.

The food was absolutely delicious — every dish arrived fresh, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. But what stood out the most was how smoothly everything was coordinated, thanks to Akhil. He checked in at the right times without being intrusive and ensured our glasses were never empty.

It’s rare to find staff who genuinely care about your dining experience, and Akhil did just that. He brought not just efficiency, but also a warm, personal touch to our evening.

I won't recommend this place to anyone. No safety. No use of Bouncers and Management team.

Incident happened last weekend 1 guy asked for cigarette, I informed I don't have. The guy keep on asking I will give you 100, 200 or 500 for 1 cigarette. I clearly informed him I don't have, I am not a shopkeeper to give you. 1 more guy comes from reception and saying they will beat you. Leave this place. The Manager and Team simply seeing from the reception bay, not even stop them. Local people saying they are Veeru Gang, they may kill you guys. Always they have tools on their cars, leave these place.

Everyone coming to enjoy the place and food, it should not affect or disturb others. Treat everyone equal.
