Latest: 4* Visited on Sunday morning 10am. Had kushka thale maamsa, boti and soup. Liked only kushka, thale maamsa and soup didn't have any taste. Boti was just okay. Now the place is further expanded and offers a lot of seating. Unfortunately queues were not maintained when I visited. Rest all same as usually crowdy place during this hour and ambience was good.
Old: 5* I visited during morning hours(9am) on a Friday, the biryani was very good with tender and tasteful mutton pieces. The quantity was good too. During morning hours with less crowd the place ambience is really great and relaxing. The billing counter was hassle free. During non weekend mornings the specialities like Kaal soup(Leg soup), thale maamsa (head mutton), boti, dessert counters were not available and I was informed they'll be available after 11am that was a bummer in this visit. I would suggest one to visit between 11-12 so that it won't be much crowded and all the items will be mostly available. !!Overall it was great experience and great food for the price!!. They've kept purified water, parcel boxes if one cannot completely finish. The staff were nice and well responsive. Recently the crowd management is better I guess due to layout change and multiple distribution counters. Also the place is expanding well to cater ever rising rushing crowd. All the best team Mallika Biryani you guys are doing great.
Could be improved: I wish to see reduction/removal of single use plastics.
Old: 3* I have been here for multiple times and first time the mutton Biryani was good then in recent times when I visited once the Biryani was too spicy so hated that visit. Today the taste was good but the mutton pieces were less and the Biryani was not hot(Even though I went during peak hour). It's crowded too much during peak hours and no Covid precautions maintained. The visiting crowd mostly don't give a F for social distancing or any sort of such measures. At the serving area there's no proper arrangement to...

I recently visited Mallika Biryani, a spacious self-service restaurant known for its biryani offerings. The restaurant boasts ample seating and several dining areas, accommodating a large number of guests simultaneously.
Upon arrival, I was impressed by the expansive layout of the restaurant, with multiple seating sections catering to different preferences. However, despite the abundance of space, the service experience was a bit chaotic. With no visible waitstaff or management on the floor, the process of ordering and receiving food felt hectic.
The servers, although efficient, lacked warmth and hospitality, possibly due to the constant influx of diners, especially on busy days like Wednesdays. It would greatly enhance the dining experience if the staff could maintain a friendly demeanor, even during peak hours.
Now, onto the star of the show – the biryani (a mutton sheek which was below average and a chicken kebab which had more batter than chicken). While the quantity of the biryani served was more than generous for a single person, the quality of the rice was somewhat disappointing. The grains were slightly overcooked, resulting in a broken texture that detracted from the overall experience. However, the flavors were commendable, with well-balanced spices and tender meat pieces, making it a satisfying meal nonetheless.
In terms of management, Mallika Biryani could benefit from a more visible presence on the floor during busy periods. This would not only ensure smoother operations but also allow for better customer interaction and feedback.
In conclusion, Mallika Biryani offers a spacious and accommodating dining environment with flavorful biryani offerings. While the service and rice quality could use improvement, the overall dining experience remains positive, especially for biryani enthusiasts seeking a...
