If you are in bangalore particularly in whitefield and you haven't visit " mooch marod" then you missed a place where you can find huge paranthas loaded with lots of homemade butter. Huge means literally huge. One of the best places in bangalore where you can get 36(may be more) variants of paranthas, kebabs, lassi and chaas. I can say, this place is a heaven for parantha lovers, butter lovers, north Indians who are craving for punjabi food and ofcourse foodies. Spices in stuffing enhanced the flavor of parantha. Truly desi and they serve veg and non veg food with seperate kitchen... Good news for veg foodies....😃😃 Their menu consists of 3 different sizes .Queen, king, emperor. ❤ Queen size:- ◾750gms weight ◾15 inch width ◾ 200gms butter ❤ King size:- ◾1kg weight ◾20 inch width ◾350gms butter ❤Emperor size:- ◾11/2 kg weight ◾25 inch width. ◾500gms butter Queen size itself was huge, and emperor size was Msssive. 5/6 people can finish that off. After seeing that i got to know why they advertise themselves as the largest paranthas. We ordered queen size afghani chicken keema onion parantha and queen size babycorn onion parantha, swéet lassi, masala chaas, mooch marod special lassi, pan lassi.paranthas are soft at edges and crunchy at middle with perfect stuffing. Lassi goes well with parantha, they are so thick tasty and so flavorful. U can get the authentic punjabi feel. This place is perfect for evenings with nice outdoor seating, cool breeze, decent service. They way anish(owner) treated us increased my respect towards him. He is so confident about hid work and i loved it. One negative point is, waiting time is high, but worth the wait. Its a must visit place. Go give it a try,im sure it won't disappoint you. When you think of punjabi food, you think of things like lassi, parathas or chicken dishes from the Tandoor. If you’re craving for any of those, head straight to Mooch Marod because you won’t be disappointed. Mooch Marod is a quaint little place in Whitefield that has an outdoor seating area with the seating being a traditional charpai. Don’t go there expecting amazing ambience because this is a hidden gem for it’s fabulous food not ambience. The stand out dish is the humongous paratha that can weigh up to 2kgs. They are known for serving the biggest parathas in India and they have different sizes. I tried the Aloo, paneer and onion paratha in queen size topped with loads of butter and I couldn’t finish more than half, it was that filling but delicious at the same time. My friends tried the Angara chicken keema paratha in king size and they said that it was heavenly as well. The king size can easily feed 4-5 people. In starters, the Afghani paneer is good for vegetarians and for the non vegetarians, the Chicken Angara, Tangdi Kebab and Malai Kebab are note worthy. They also serve huge lassis that are thick and flavourful. We tried the queen size which was around 600 ml. They also have the bucket Lassi. We tried the “Kesar Pista Lassi” and “Mooch Marod Special Lassi” which were both flavoured with saffron, khoa, pista and cardamom. Really delicious and super thick. Overall I really loved this place for the portion size and taste. It’s total value for money kind of place! Do check it out.

Mooch Marod is an average restaurant that offers a variety of parathas and lassi in its menu. One notable aspect of this establishment is the different sizes of parathas they serve, catering to various appetites. Whether you have a small or large appetite, Mooch Marod has you covered. One highlight of my visit was their lassi, which was truly delightful. The lassi had a rich and creamy texture, and the flavors were well-balanced. It was undoubtedly one of the better lassis I have had in a while. However, there were a few drawbacks that affected the overall dining experience. The lack of special parking facilities was a disappointment. Finding a suitable parking spot nearby was a bit of a hassle and added inconvenience to the visit. Seating arrangements were also challenging. The restaurant seemed to have limited seating options, and it was difficult to find a comfortable spot during peak hours. This made the dining experience less enjoyable, as it felt cramped and crowded. Another major drawback was the absence of toilet facilities and a proper hand-washing area. It is crucial for any restaurant to provide hygienic amenities, and the absence of these basic facilities at Mooch Marod was quite inconvenient and off-putting. Despite these shortcomings, the food at Mooch Marod was commendable. The parathas were well-cooked and flavorful, making them a satisfying choice. However, these positives were overshadowed by the lack of parking, seating difficulties, and the absence of proper toilet facilities. In conclusion, Mooch Marod can be rated as an average restaurant. While they offer different sizes of parathas and serve delicious lassi, the lack of special parking, seating difficulties, and the absence of toilet.

One of the best parathas around the corner. The quality of stuffed paratha has been increased over the years. They have king and queen size. The kig size paratha can fit to appetite if 3 to 4 members. However, they don't have any paratha for single person. The recommendation from them queen size paratha is actually more than a single appetizer. You can control the spice level according to your choice, default it is medium spicy. Their home made butter is also one good thing to try unlike others who send readymade amul butter for parcel. They have all outdoor sitting facility, if it's not raining then you can enjoy your paratha and other stuff. The lassi is one of the main attraction as well, this also comes in 2 sizes. Based on your capacity you can enjoy the lassi. The parking in this area is a bit of concern now a days as there is construction work going on in the market complex. This has reduced definitely the car parking space. Updated on 29th Jan 2023: Just visited the outlet for dinner. Total disappointment. Other than starter like paneer and chicken kawab which now a days every other restaurant makes it ok, I found the paneer and chicken paratha disgusting, felt like chewing raw gluten. The special lassi also came as unpleasant surprise, the badam powder was not adding anything special to the sweet lassi. I am not sure if I can make my mind to go there again. Now not best in town any more, I will recommend kapoors cafe for parathas as the best in neighborhood, even though they don't have non veg option.

Authentic Punjabi vibes. Love their jute cot seating and the homely-looking articles in which food is served. But you may not love the place if you like to be seated inside the restaurant and not out in the open where people keep passing by (the restaurant is situated in a busy place that's like a small food street). Recently had the Aloo Onion Paratha (queen size), special lassi and masala chaas. The paratha was perfect, served with onions, mint chutney and raitha, and good news for butter lovers, all parathas here are served with a more than generous dollop of homemade butter. But it's difficult to be consumed completely by 2 people together (even if you've skipped the previous meal of the day). So, it's a good place to dine as a group than by yourself. The lassi was a bit too sweet, and I'm a sugar tooth myself. So avoid the special lassi and try one of the normal versions that may be available. Had kesar pista lassi the previous time I visited - better than the special lassi. The variety of spices added in the masala chaas were a bit too much for my taste - they dominated the actual taste of pure buttermilk. So again, try one of the normal versions available. Service is good and quick. Food is worth the money, both by quantity and taste. Overall, a great place to hang by with your friends when you're more-than-normal hungry! One of the must-visit places in Bengaluru.

A typical dhaba style rustic set up. There's a vast selection of parathas on the menu and the parathas don't disappoint you. The serving is like you've heard... If your appetite is small then you need to go in a group! We were 9 people and we couldn't finish 3 parathas and that's when we had not even ordered their emperor Paratha ( which is the largest size as per them !) The king Paratha in itself is very big and can't be finished between two people! Comes with raita, masala onion and a good sized dollop of white butter ! They also give you a variety of achaars to have with your parathas which is good. Although it's massive size it's cooked to perfection. Taste is good. Coming to the non veg section. Their tandoori kababs are awesome and so is their chicken angara ! We tried the chicken keema Paratha and that was also nice. Now the best part... Lassi ! No added flavour just plain regular lassi which goes well with your Paratha. There's no gravy as there's only stuffed Paratha served. Would have been good if they served some gravies too. Don't expect fancy if you're heading out there. Like I mentioned it's pretty basic. Also don't expect it to be cheap. We ordered 3 parathas two tandoori chicken, two large glasses of lassi and two regular ones and paid 3.5k for it. So it is expensive. It's just the huge Paratha experience you're looking out for.
