Nestled in the heart of Nagarbhavi, Nammoora Thindi is a charming little eatery that beckons with the promise of hearty breakfasts and mouthwatering snacks. As I stepped inside, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling dosas greeted me, instantly making me feel at home. The Mrudu Dosa Magic: The star of Nammoora Thindi’s menu is undoubtedly the mrudu dosa. Delicate, golden-brown, and served with an array of chutneys, it’s a symphony of flavors that dances on your taste buds. Pair it with a steaming cup of filter coffee, and you’re in breakfast heaven. Crispy Dosas That Melt in Your Mouth: The dosas here are nothing short of divine. Crisp, paper-thin, and generously smeared with ghee, they practically melt in your mouth. Whether you prefer the classic sada dosa or the more adventurous masala dosa, Nammoora Thindi delivers every time. Token System for Smooth Service: Despite being perpetually crowded (a testament to its popularity), Nammoora Thindi manages its service seamlessly. The token system ensures that everyone gets their fair share of dosa goodness without any confusion. Just remember to arrive early to secure your spot! Home-Style Comfort: The ambiance is simple and unpretentious—a place where families gather, friends catch up, and solo diners find solace. It’s like stepping into your grandmother’s kitchen, where love and flavor intertwine. Beware of the Rates: Now, a word of caution: some patrons have raised concerns about the pricing. While the dosas are worth every rupee, it’s essential to be mindful of your budget. If you’re on a tight budget, consider sharing a plate with a friend.

The thick coconut chutney that accompanied it? It's high time we call out such places and demand good food that Bengaluru was once famous for."
-- Detailed review: Ordered Bisibelebath to get a conviction that tasted like a light, non spicy, watery version of Anna Sambar mixed together.
Then went for a Dose (Dosa) to avoid disappointments as no restaurant could mess up a Masala Dose (Dosa) in Bengaluru. Though the Dosa met the standards, the chutney and Sambar though were a distant memory of themselves at best.
I have attached two photos of empty chutney bowls with water remaining in them, for your reference, and to let you know what to expect. You wouldn't feel thirsty after eating (rather gulping) the chutney.
Summary: What's wrong with the people of Bengaluru?! Have you forgotten the taste of authentic MTR Masala Dose(Dosa): the perfect tasting sambar served in a bucket at Chalukya Samrat? The thick coconut chutney that accompanied it?
This restaurant is located in the central part of Nagarbhavi, a prime location and there's always a decent crowd. But this experience has left me wondering WHY?
It's high time we call out such places and demand good food that Bengaluru was once famous for. Else, even the Masala Dose for which it's well known for will turn into a...
Read moreFriends,
If there is one word I should use to describe this hotel then the apt word would be "looters". The food quality/quantity is inversely proportional to the exorbitantly high price they are charging for all items.
2.The bowl used to serve chutney/saagu for dosa is "so biggggggg" that you end up emptying it within couple of dips.... Shame on them for charging RS 85 for some dosas and serving chutney saagu in tiny bowl.
3.The tea served at Rs.15 per cup is as sweet as it can get !!!!If one needs a spike in their sugar levels then just sip a cup of their T ! Its never served hot and the female staff show their attitude and refuse when you ask them to do a by2.
Despite pricing the tea at Rs.15 per cup they ask you to pay up Rs.2 extra should you ask for a paper cup...... thats so cheap of you "Nammora thindi"
The saagu served will just be the Masala-laden watery stuff floating at the top.The lady serving saagu seems to be saving all the vegetable content in saagu for herself ....PATHETIC......
While profit making is indeed your sole purpose of running a hotel business, you seem to have crossed all the limits of cheapness.....If you are pricing your food items at premium rates compared to other equally good/better fast food joints which charge a lot lesser than you ...the day is not too far when you down the shutters owing to pathetic quality of food , high price and belligerent attitude...
