'PATHETIC' word will also fall short .....for this Bengali Biriyani. I wish there was a ZERO star option . I am really surprised to see 4.9 rating, seems all are paid or provided by friends and family of the owner. Just ruined our SUNDAY lunch. We took 2 Chicken and 2 Mutton Biriyani worth RS 1539 which was totally waste of money and cravings for Biriyani!!! Over cooked rice,no smell of Bengali Biriyani at all. Moreover the Mutton of the Mutton Biriyani was taken from some curry I guess..... STOP FOOLING PEOPLE.Have some Business ETHICS..... Please do not go by this paid reviews, dont waste your money. Marketing stragies are good with good behaviour from the owner but thats it. Maybe the owner have not tasted authentic Bengali Biryani, forget authentic, even a normal shop selling Biryani in Kolkata make better Biriyani than this. The owner said that their chef is from "Dada boudi", maybe he was thrown out of there because of his aweful cooking, if at all he is a chef !!
When we sat waiting for our order inside the resturant, the customer behind said that food was not good, fish not fresh enough and taste certainly not Bengali but it was too late for me..
Stay away if you are a Bengali food lover as this will not satiate...
Read moreThis restaurant doesn’t deserve even a single star. It’s quite obvious how they’ve managed to get 5-star ratings—definitely not through genuine service or food quality. They lack even the most basic sense of presentation. The food quality is extremely poor, and it’s easy to tell that the owners are more focused on spending money blindly on marketing rather than maintaining standards, Broo burning money is not marketing, focus on customer satisfaction.
The attitude of the staff and the owner is slightly arrogant—as if they believe they’re the best in the business. I even found a hair in my rice. When I pointed it out, the lady there casually dismissed it, claiming it wasn’t a hair and probably came from me, not their kitchen. Her tone basically implied: “It’s your hair, and if you didn’t like the food, that’s your problem. If they continue ignoring customer feedback and don’t work on improving quality, I’m certain the outcome will show in a few months. The competition in Bangalore’s food scene is fierce, and running a successful restaurant here demands much more than...
Read moreThis place serves really good authentic bengali dishes at a very affordable price. They offer a good range of items in the menu, including both veg and non veg options. Thalis and individual items are both available. Apart from bengali, there are also other food options available in the menu. I went there with my friends and tried mughlai paratha and Rose Petal chanar payesh. The mughlai paratha tasted really great. It has a better quantity of stuffing and crispy outer covering. The side dish served with it was a preparation of potato. It's a little to no gravy preparation with a perfect mixture of spices, and it tasted excellent. Overall, the mughlai paratha, along with the potato side dish, is a solid 4.5 out of 5. The rose petal chanar payesh is a must-have for the health-conscious people since it is prepared using jaggery, and it tasted really great. I will give this item 4.3 out of 5. The service provided by the owners was excellent. They welcomed us so warmly that it felt like home . To sum it up, I strongly recommend this place...
