I’ve been visiting Aaswad Restaurant in Bharuch for the past several years, and it continues to be my absolute favorite spot for a homely and hygienic dining experience.

The food here feels just like home — simple, fresh, and cooked with genuine care. Every time I visit, the taste and quality remain consistently satisfying.

What sets Asvad apart is not just the flavor, but also the exceptional hygiene standards they maintain. The kitchen is clean, the utensils spotless, and everything is handled with care — something that truly matters in today’s time.

The staff is incredibly well-disciplined, polite, and attentive. They treat every customer with respect and warmth, which adds to the overall comfort of dining here.

There are very few eateries in Bharuch where you will get quality food at affordable rates. Aaswad is the best in them. Here you will get authentic Gujarati Thali. The staff is cooperative and honest (yes, they are). Place is small and has few dining tables. This is not a place like chit-chat restaurant but a place where you can really enjoy the taste of food, can have 'Aaswad' of it.

The 'Thali' contains 2 sabji, 1 kathol (pulses), rice, roti, papad, pickle, green salad, dal or kadhhi and buttermilk. Everything unlimited except papad and buttermilk. Sweet is available with extra charge.

This restaurant is nostalgic to me!

As, I used to come here for dinner along with my office colleagues back in 2013-14. At that time, this was like a mess (daily routine dinner) for us.

This is on the Left side of GSFC Road towards ABC Chokdi.

Food taste is with Gujarati touch. Menu Items: • Sabji 1 (Vegetable/ Aaloo) • Sabji 2 (Kathol) • Sabji 3 (Green Vegetable) • Dal/ Kadhi • Chaval/ Khichdi • Chaas - Limited • Papad - Limited • Salad • Pickle

Rate is also reasonable. Serving staff members were polite and fast.
