A great place, but better to avoid!

Starlit is basically a renovated place which was an another bar before. It has got really great ambience (make sure you have a camera good enough for low light pictures) which will make your mood. Food is really good as well.

Now why the 2 star rating?

TLDR: Avoid the place because of rude behavior of waiters.

Detailed version:

Because of the service. Especially the waiters. When I reached at 12 45 PM, the whole place was empty but the waiter tried to force me to sit at a dark corner table (definitely the worst table in the whole restaurant). I was literally the only person at the place. The waiter kept bugging me in every 5 min to place order when I was waiting for my friends. He tried to force me to place order as soon as they arrived. When I said I need 5 minutes, he snapped back at me saying to order as soon as possible. It was 1pm and the whole place was still empty except us. The behaviour and attitude of the waiter was rude at all time and treated us as if we were there to chill and not order food.

After finishing starter, I placed order for main course. However another waited came and rudely asked if I have ordered for main course, as if he was going to kick us out if we don't. They gave us the bill as soon as we finished food and asked to pay as soon as possible. The waiter tried my card for NFC (touch and pay) for 5 times till I got a call from bank if my card has been stolen. Neither did he ask if NFC is enabled, nor he stopped after 1-2 attempts. Pathetic!

All this would have been fine if the waiters would have been polite instead of rude and barking orders at us like we're some freeloaders. Whenever we clicked pics, they were staring at us like we're doing some crime.

If you want to have a good experience, avoid this place. If you want to go for a quick meal, click some pictures, and come out soon, sure, go for it. But if you intend to have real peaceful time with your friends with a nice experience, not the...

I have visited this place multiple times in the past, but during my last visit, I was disappointed with the experience. The establishment had started charging for the live music show, which is not appreciated. They were charging around 2K per person, which is unusual as live music shows are generally free of cost unless a celebrity is performing. I was not happy with the service. Here's my detailed review of my last visit:

I visited this place for lunch and dinner with my family. As soon as we arrived, we were promptly seated. The ambience was superb and well-maintained, except for the washrooms, which could use some improvement. We ordered Paneer Chatpati, Mushroom Salt and Pepper, Tandoor Prawn, and Chicken Chatpati for starters, and Veg Fried Rice, Chicken Fried Rice, Butter Naan, Paneer Tikka Masala, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Sizzling Brownie with Ice Cream for our main course and dessert. All the dishes were served at the perfect temperature, and the taste was excellent. The presentation of food was okay, but there is room for improvement. The servers were attentive, polite, and proactive in asking about the taste of the food. They also suggested dishes and accommodated our request to serve the food quickly as we were running late. We had a fantastic time and visited the place back to back two days. We plan to visit again soon.
