Khadak Singh Da Dhaba — Restaurant in Bihar

One of the most pathetic experiences amongst the good restaurants in Patna. The service quality was extremely poor, I would say at its lowest level. In spite of paying an advance of Rs. 500 for table reservation (which is totally illegal) we were given a corner table with very little air circulation. After sitting for almost 10 mins, when no waiter came to take our order, we called one. He took our order of non veg and veg platter. Then after waiting for 15 mins one more waiter with the name Ravi came and asked us to order. When we told him that we already ordered veg and non veg platter, to our utter shock he told us that is not available in starter. Then we asked for some more starter item in the menu and they were also not available. So please ask these people over call what all is available before visiting this place. Then we somehow ordered main course as well...Starter came some half an hour later...and the main course came 1.5 hr after the starters were served when we went to the manager and told him that we are leaving if the food is not served.This their service quality. But one I noticed was people sitting at our adjacent table were being served in time. So dont know if some kind of favour was given to them. Food taste and quality was okay, but the service just took all our excitement of having a great time. Thank you management of Khadak Singh, Patna for spoiling our evening...

I'll divide the review in two parts: Food - It's the second time I've been to this this place. The food is hands down amazing. I ordered Paneer Malai Tikka and extra spicy Schezwan veg noodles. The paneer was fresh and delicious. There were about 10 medium to large sized paneer cubes. It was deliciously seasoned with masala and the right amount of malai giving it a little sweet taste. The Schezwan noodles was spicy, precisely what I asked for. The portion was enough for a couple but I shamelessly gobbled them alone myself. I avoid repeating but the food was great in both quantity and quality.

Ambience and service - The waiters were polite, ready to help with everything, elaborating whatever dish you want to know more about. The ambience and interior are very soothing and the place overall, is quite neat. They have a cozy playlist playing in the background, perfect for spending some quality time with your significant other, family or alone as well.

The interiors are ok.. Not very spacious. We tried crispy chilli babycorn 3/5, drums of heaven 2.5/5...wasn't well marinated tasteless insides.. Paneer lababdaar2/5 wierd taste... Chicken tikka masala1/5..considering 4 pcs are 550+gst.. I had high hopes of awesome taste n size of tikkas.. But its ordinary tikka size similar as you get 6 pcs in a plate in any ordinary restaurant for average of Rs 300. Drinks were mentioned on mrp in the menu but they charge arbitrary in bill.. The mix stuff kulchas were absolute disaster with extra salty filling. Which made any thing taste worse with them.... On the whole I'm very dissatisfied and disspointed...... The least expected.... When you finish the meal and ask for a finger bowl expecting such highly priced resteraunt to have such basic facility..... They simply guide you to a wash basin with...
