Worst Experience Ever â Felt Cheated and Disheartened
I visited Hotel Simna International, Muzaffarpur today around 6:15 PM to book decorations for my baby girlâs first birthday. They quoted three options â âš8,000, âš5,000, and a âbasicâ one for âš2,000. Since it was my daughterâs first birthday, I chose the basic âš2,000 decoration. I even asked if they could provide a receipt, but the manager flatly denied it, saying they donât issue receipts for decorations as it is âarranged on demand.â This itself felt unprofessional, but I still went ahead and agreed.
They told me to come by 9:30 PM, and I trusted them. But when we arrived at 9:25 PM, to my shock, another family was already celebrating with the same decorations I had paid for. When I confronted the manager (name given to me as Aman, though he never showed his ID), he casually told me, âSir, I canât refuse anyone before 9:30, they are just taking photos and cutting cake. After that, it will be yours.â
Later, I even asked that family if they had paid for decorations. The lady replied that she had given âš700 to the manager. So basically, the same decorations that I paid âš2,000 for were being re-sold to others without my consent.
This was supposed to be one of the happiest days of my life â celebrating my babyâs first birthday. Instead, it turned into one of the most humiliating and frustrating experiences. I felt completely cheated, helpless, and heartbroken. Months of excitement were ruined in a matter of minutes.
If this is how Hotel Simna International treats its customers, then itâs not just unprofessional â itâs outright unethical. I would never recommend this place to anyone who wants to create happy memories for their loved ones. What I took home tonight was not joy, but...

I visited Hotel Simna for dinner with my family two days ago, and the experience was beyond disappointing. We ordered various dishes, including a veg biryani, expecting a pleasant meal. However, when we reordered the veg biryani, to our utter shock, we found a piece of bone in the dish.
As a vegetarian, this was not only deeply upsetting but also completely unacceptable. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, the waiter initially denied it and claimed that no non-veg was being prepared in the kitchen that day. It was only after much argument that he reluctantly admitted there was a small bone in the dish, brushing it off as a minor mistake.
What makes this situation even worse is that it felt like a deliberate act, tricking a vegetarian into consuming non-veg food. Such behavior is not only highly unethical but also a violation of trust and basic human decency. This deception is not just a service failure but an outright disrespect for customer preferences and beliefs.
Serving non-veg to a vegetarian, whether intentional or not, is a serious mistake, and the lack of concern or a proper apology from the hotelâs side only made things worse. Their attitude reflected a complete disregard for the customerâs needs, values, and ethical boundaries.
I strongly advise vegetarians and those with specific dietary restrictions to avoid Hotel Simna. This experience has left me with no intention of ever returning, and I sincerely hope the management takes immediate steps to prevent such unethical practices...

A very good restaurent in town but space is not adequate. And the most important staff is very good n supportive. I was amazed when I saw a new menu on the last day of chatt puja. They told this menu is for today only, what is this?? Is this any road side dhaba. Making new menu for festivals and all. This goes very negative for the restaurant. How much they will earn in one day this shows the greed for money of this restaurant. This is very bad. It took 45 minutes to take our order. So if it's very rush then you put another single page menu and hide your original menu. So a hard no ..No to this...
