24/7 Restaurant — Restaurant in Chandigarh

A couple of days agao i went to Lalit to sit in a peaceful, calm, and decent environment and have some snacks and tea. But my bad it wasnt a good choice... i ordered veg sandwitch and masala tea... the sandwitch was ok and nothing special in it... fries served with it were warm (not hot) as if they were made couple of hours back.... this wasnt enough ... i ordered masala tea and got simple tea that too wasn't hot... i raised my concern to the serving staff she took my remaining tea and came back with the same tea but heated... i was like what the heck is going on... i would have got much better tea from a roadside tea stall and that too at a cost of peanut... BASED ON MY EXPEIRENCE I CAN SAY THAT LALIT'S TEA IS NOT EVEN AT PAR WITH A ROADSIDE TEA STALL. EVEN A VENDING MACHINE CAN MAKE BETTER TEA AND WILL SERVE MASALA TEA WHEN ASKED FOR MASALA TEA... IT WILL NOT FOOL PEOPLE BY SERVING NORMAL TEA AT THE NAME OF MASALA TEA. COMPARING COST BETWEEN THEM IS OUT OF SCOPE.

ON TOP OF IT I DID GAVE A WRITTEN FEEDBACK BUT EVEN AFTER WEEKS NO ONE HAS CONTACTED NOT EVEN A MESSAGE APPOLOGY...

One of the worst experiences ever. I went to this restaurant on 22/11 for a lunch buffet, as the dinner buffet was closed due to COVID, to celebrate my birthday and I regret choosing this over JW Marriott.

Firstly, there were limited options in the buffet, and when I say limited, I mean very FEW. There was only 1 veg starter and the options were limited in main course and chinese as well. We were informed more dishes, than what we got, when we had called a day before

Secondly, the options were chosen really poorly as well. In the main course, they had 'kadhi pakoda', 'amritsari vadi' and 'LAUKI TAMATAR'. I did not expect to get these when I went to dine in at The Lalit.

Also, some of the dishes were really cold. And no, I am not talking about Ice cream! The rice, noodles and manchurian were cold.

Tried to sort this with them over call and email but did not get any reply and hence, I had to come here and post.

It was NOT at all value for money. Trust me, you will be happier if you go to some local restaurant that serves the same, or maybe better, buffet at about 1/10th of the price of 24/7 Restaurant at The Lalit. That is...
