For those having problem of sitting in summers - There is A Cafe on Top Floor Of DSW building most of the items are available there with sitting, fans and coolers - My Recommendations for trying there are - Channey bhatura ( they give 3 pieces of bhatura which are crispy), Amritsari Choley Kulcha and Mango shake ( they mix roohafsa also) , things to avoid are rolls. I am not sure but out of all cafes in StuC South Indian Food is only available here which I found out to be a mis or a hit.
For Best Coffee , Dry Parantha , and Sandwich - Mamma mia , Hot coffee is the best. Con is items are on expensive side. ( You can avoid cold coffee)
Guru ki Chai and Doodh Patti are the best , specially in winters
Both Shake shops are good but I Prefer the shop below Shake club more ( sorry forgot the name, as always focused on Taste)
For Chinese - Although most place have same test of Chinese items specially the chinese platter (which is Not worth it at all) but best is Mona Refreshments for all chinese items , a must try are spicy peri peri momos.
For Lunch and Dinner - Pakwan meal is the best for Thali and There Paneer thalis are best
Raj eatery - I prefer them for Choley bhature ( less crispy) and Rajma Chawal - Less Priced Tasty food.
Biggest drawback is other than the items mentioned above Taste is more or less same of All the Other Items in each cafe. Biggest Positive is no tissue paper available in Panjab University Campus ( hand wash taps...

It's 2024 now, and I visited the Indian Coffee House at StuC a few days ago to have dinner with a friend. This was after a long gap and perhaps for the first time I couldn't spot any familiar faces there. But i did feel nostalgic for the days gone by. There was some event going on and hip-hop songs blared out of a nice speaker outside the English department.
Anybody can go eat and hang out at StuC, it's open to the public - if a guard stops you at the University gate, you can inform him/her that you're only going in to have food at StuC and they'll usually let you in unless there's been a security incident in the last few days.
There's all types of food there at reasonable prices. You can also enter any hostel mess and have a full meal there, which is even healthier and...
