Uttam Sweets & Dairy Products — Restaurant in Chandigarh

As a years old customer of the original sector 46 shop. I can clearly say that their strength lies in sweets only. Apart from that other items like chaat golgappa samosa kachori jalebi etc are unhygienic. The staff doesn’t cover food items that are outside the shop. You can see numerous flies going around the golgappa, tikki etc as they are not covered from all sides. Moreoever on the back side you can see numerous flies sitting on the cloth they use to make jalebis because the cloths are dried alongside pocha(mop) and the staff outside doesnt have much sense about cleanliness. I personally saw on one occasion that a dirty cloth picked from alongside a pocha with flies on it used to make jalebis and a staff member scratching himself in the not so clean areas and then packing samosas without any gloves on the same time without cleaning. Is this hygienic? This type of behaviour made me stop taking items...

STALE FOOD Ordered a Kg of Gujiya this morning via Zomato. Though it arrived promptly around 0900 AM, the Gujiya was awful in taste and stale, probably being a few days old. When contacted, the Store asked us to get it exchanged from an Outlet at Sector 68. Now since the product was Bad and Unfit for consumption, it was their responsibility to send across a fresh product or to refund me, which they did not. Why else would I have ordered it through a delivery app, if it was convenient for me to pick it up from the Store. Nor was the gentleman's response, courteous enough being busy with morning deliveries etc. Will avoid the Store for any further...
