Anvika cafe and restaurant is a pure veg restaurant in Dantewada. It is around 2 kms from Maa Danteshwari Temple, Dantewada.
Pros The ambience of the restaurant is pleasant. Melodious music was played throughout. Staff were wearing masks. Had ordered Manchow soup, masala papad, gobi manchurian, butter naan, stuffed kulcha and veg patiyala for gravy. Taste of the food was ok. Prices of the food is reasonable, not very affordable nor very expensive. An evening can be spent here for dinner. Clean and separate washrooms for men and women.
Cons. Service is dead slow. They take more than 15-20 mins for each dish to be served. Have to ask for things without which it will not be provided. Ex: For Manchow soup, they only gave soup and not the fried noodles, we had to ask for it. Also for gobi manchurian had to ask for tomato sauce. If we do not know any dish, there is a chance that the dish may not not be served completely. Plates provided can be more clean. When the masala papad was provided for us, it had pizza sauce stuck to it at the bottom, it was disgusting to see.
Overall the place is good, but can improve in the above...
Read moreNo value for money. If the waiter suggests for something which is a speciality by the chef, mark my words, never ever ever go for it... But wait why would I suggest you this, it's better avoid the place. However if you would still like to flock this eatery (I would rather rather call this a place that eats away your appetite) better fill your tummy with the starters, which are again exorbitantly highly priced, but still you won't feel that you have been robbed. I have been here thrice and all three times I have commited the crime of listening to the waiter. Yes you can say this place boasts of the best ambience is a radius of 50 km but you should know that this is not something very high if compared to industry standards. You shouldn't forget that it's the food and not the ambience that will retain...
