Been here quite a few times now, and I can say this that the food quality has nose dived alot with the prices skyrocketing. And BEWARE. if you visit here and actually feel like theres something wrong with the food you are eating like either it has gone stale or bad and shouldn't be ate, accept that feeling and dont eat the food its gone bad for real and doesn't means that the food should be that way. Saying from personal experience as I once ate stale curd here which tasted alot sour than it normally should be , and it gave me a week of severe diarrhoea and stomach ache. So if you have a gut feeling the food is bad don't eat it its actually bad. Also they dont care about cleanliness, you can yourself see on their bowls or plates or the cutlery, you may see small smudges on it indicating inadequate washing. Not good for the price one pays now, earlier it was cheap so acceptable to a limit but not now , better restaurants...
Read moreWow, what a gem of a place! Walking in feels like stepping back in time, evoking a sense of nostalgia and calm. It's a rare find, especially in an era where many restaurants are driven more by profit than by genuine service or taste. This place stands out as a beacon of authentic cuisine and thoughtful hospitality.
The menu here is a testament to great food, offering a wide array of dishes with remarkable consistency and flavor. One might expect South Indian dishes to be the highlight, but the North Indian offerings, like the mutton biryani and various chicken dishes, are equally impressive.
The ambiance takes you back to a bygone era, reminiscent of the 80s, providing a serene and pleasant environment perfect for unwinding. This restaurant truly captures the essence of comfort and well-being, making it a wonderful spot to relax and...
Read moreThe Indian Coffee House is a well-known food service provider in India, mostly serving at government plants and factories. I recently came to know that they also have a restaurant in the city, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff is very polite, the food quality is good, and the atmosphere inside is calm and welcoming.
It’s also a good place for snacks and breakfast. They mostly serve South Indian dishes with authentic taste, though they also have North Indian options on the menu. Still, I would definitely recommend trying their South Indian food.
Prices are slightly on the higher side compared to other hotels, but the overall experience makes it worth it, especially for special dinners. Overall, I had a very good experience and would recommend it for anyone looking for a nice...
