So we decided to dine here after a movie. Having seen the reviews - both good & bad, I wasn't sure what to expect. On arrival, my booking was confirmed at the inside seating. I requested for a table outside, and after much ado, we were finally seated outside. But the insects there made us go inside again but not after we had placed our order. We ordered veg Ratatouille, chicken burger, Chicken Pollo Parmigiana, butter chicken and butter naan. First, about the food : the five stars you see on the rating is basically because of the food. The food was delicious and one of the best we have had in a long time. Each dish was prepared with due attention to detail, and the flavours one could experience with every bite. The presentation too was quite appealing to the eyes. Now something about the service : the first dish took approximately 15 minutes to arrive, the next two arrived subsequently after another 7 or 8 minutes, the last one to arrive with good about delay of almost 30 minutes was the chicken Pollo Parmigiana. However, the wait was well worth it. I strongly recommend this dish if you love chicken. It has two layers of finely cooked breasts of chicken with a layer of mushrooms, and mushroom sauce on the side. It's mouthwatering !! All the dishes were sumptuous and very filling. We decided to share the dessert, so we ordered a Choco Lava cake which is the in-house speciality and a kiwi baked yoghurt. Though the baked yoghurt was not really baked, it was simple yoghurt with kiwi flavour, it was still ok, and the Choco lava cake was lip smacking. Now about the staff : the initial reluctance to provide a table in the open sitting outside was understandable because they most probably reserve it for their members etc, however the inner seating too was just as good with almost Throne-like individual sofas. The staff had good working knowledge about the dishes and their recommendations were spot on. They were helpful and polite, though rushed for time and space due to heavy crowds even on weekdays like today. I highly recommend this place for great food, good ambience and professional staff. This is one of the best fine dining restaurants I have been to in Raipur and do plan to visit this place...
Read moreMy friend found this place. He informed me that it belongs to a celebrity chef. We went here in April, 2022. We knew that this restaurant will be on the pricey side but couldn't guess that it would be on the higher end of the pricey spectrum. We paid ₹500-600 for spring rolls and got only 4 pieces. After having one or two items, we had understood that we can't afford more than this, so we left empty stomach. The food quality was good and taste was okay but both of these factors could not justify the pricing of these dishes. Alcohol prices are through the roof, a pint of bottled Corona beer costs ₹500. A few observations-
Location is great, on the Vidhan Sabha road. The approach road is also wonderful, I felt as if temperatures dropped be 1-2°C on the road to to the plants and trees planted along it. The lightening along side the road was also great. Valet parking is available and from what I wrote above one can guess that there isn't a separate 2 wheelers parking. Ambience is great in the open garden restaurant, but inside the restaurant it felt a little gloomy. On the first floor is the bar section where there is a good collection of books to read. Seating arrangement is good inside, however the royal chairs are pretty heavy to adjust. The chairs are comfortable, though. Staff is very well behaved and sophisticated. Online payment facility is available. If one decides to check out this place, I would recommend to pre-book your tables here.
Overall, I would recommend to check this place out to anyone who has already visited most of the cafès in raipur and is looking for something new and luxurious. Additionally, if anyone decides to go here, a good bank balance is...
Read moreIRAA is located inside Swarnabhoomi Society on the Vidhan Sabha Road..Ample parking space..Better to book a table by calling them few hrs prior.. We had dinner both inside n outside.. The staffs are quite cooperative and well behaved.. The outdoor sitting is really amazing but at times not feasible because of rainy weather.. Its our first priority place for a nice dine in as the drive on the way back is quite good and the ambience is superb..
We particularly enjoyed Lemon Coariander soup Paneer Tikka( pili mirch) Paneer thin crust pizza Mushroom Rissotto Virgin pinacolada(Mocktail)..
What i think can be improved is particularly the waiting time for food..it takes nearly 20-25min for the order to arrive..n its difficult to wait that long sometimes.. Secondly a lot of options are given in the menu but they are not available which is irritating as we go quite often to this place n we think we will b bored of the same things to eat everytym.. Last but not the least..dont try mushroom consumme soup..its pathetic..i think they shouldnt place it as the first...
