Oye Daman. Family Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu

Date of Visit 2nd Jan 2022 around 2-4PM. Not much crowd at all. Based on that below is the experience. ILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN.

Waiters almost 3-4 different waiters. Only 1 was good. Rest all were least bothered. So poor staff.....

I had ordered Prawns Koliwada- informed clearly 4 times to CLEAN PRAWNS AND REMOVE BLACK THREAD FROM PRAWNS. They assured me, but later it was with Black thread. Time and money wasted. We asked for chutney with prawns or sezwan sauce, they told , for everything you have to pay and I was like WHAT? They don't give even any sauce or chutney with starters. ₹50/- hahaha really????

We had to ask for Ice 4-5 times in 50 minutes, later it got served.

Untidy ceiling, lizards were present during afternoon time, DAMN!

Main course lunch had ordered Veg handi- total non sense taste.

Food & dinner both is costly... Same as Veera's dhabha. I 100% recommend Veera's Dhabha as it's on same place & food, quality, everything is best there, hardly 200-300 meters away.

The slide for kids is 100% unsafe. The angle is steep. The only good thing about this place is good...

Not suitable for family travellers. Might be good for bachelors and drunkers.

Place is not able to handle the orders when crowd increases. We went there, were given table immediately but after that ordering took ages, only 2 ppl to take order and other all were like helper waiters. Order once given came after 30-45 mins, and many goofups in orders. The food is also not upto the mark.

Tandoori chicken had too much chemical taste, dum biryani was like plain rice, butter milk is 70% water, parathas are half cooked, they will quietly serve you the remain over gravy instead of what we order.

We have to remain hungry because we entered at 9:30 and due to very lazy and later service we have to remain there by 11:30 with such food which later was so no use.

My suggestion: for drunkers its good because they will serve any thing and as you are drunk you will not realize. But family ppl kindly avoid this bar restaurant due to pathetic food and super...

Went to this place after reading the reviews. Ambience was good as the weather actually complimented the open garden like setup. The guys waiting on us didn't know the menu at all and we're roaming around with tabs which made you feel like this was going to be good. We told the guy that we wanted something less spicy for our kid and hence went with butter chicken. I also asked for normal chicken seekh kebab but he recommended something called mamachicken kebab which was similar. Since he recommended, I went with it. We took a parcel and we're quiet hungry when we got back to the hotel. We were badly disappointed because neither were the kebabs good or tasty, even the butter chicken was spicy and full of garam masala. Nothing like what butter chicken is supposed to be. Extremely disappointed in this place Oye Daman. Suggestion: Go to Gurukrupa in the market...
