OUTRAGED! Halal Restaurant Using PORK-Labeled Packaging — Absolutely Unacceptable!

I am beyond shocked and angry after my recent experience with Ayaana Restaurant, which claims to be a halal-certified establishment. I had ordered Chicken Seekh Kebab — expecting halal food as advertised. But to my horror, it was packed inside a “McCormick Pork Gravy Mix” packet (image attached as proof).

➡️ Let me be clear: This is not just a mistake — it’s a complete betrayal of trust. No halal-practicing individual would ever expect to receive their food in packaging that openly says “PORK” — especially not from a restaurant that claims to respect religious dietary laws.

This is unacceptable on every level:

Do you even understand what “halal” means?

How dare a halal restaurant use packaging labeled with pork — even if it’s reused?

Do you realize how deeply offensive and distressing this is for customers who follow halal food standards?

This is not a small oversight — it shows a complete lack of care, responsibility, and respect toward your customers’ faith and values.

You don’t get to call yourself halal and do this.

This isn't just about packaging — it's about integrity. If pork-labeled items are even present in your kitchen or storage, how can any customer trust your claims of being halal?

I will never be ordering from Ayaana Restaurant again.

I also strongly urge others who care about halal food to reconsider supporting a place that is so careless and misleading.

Until then, this restaurant deserves zero stars for violating the trust of...

Overpriced, Slow Service & Poor Value for Money

I recently visited this non-veg restaurant with a friend, and while the taste was average to okay, overall experience was quite disappointing.

Key issues:

Overpriced – We ordered just two items, paid ₹700+, and still left hungry. The quantity is extremely low, not even enough for two people. For a restaurant located in a local area like Silampur Road, Jamuna Paar, the pricing feels completely unjustified.

Prepayment system – You have to decide everything from the menu in advance, pay at the counter, and only then they start your order. You can’t order anything else later without repeating the process. This is very inconvenient, especially when you're eating and feel like adding something on the spot.

Very slow service – This was the most frustrating part. Roti finishes, you ask for another one, and then you wait... and wait... By the time the next roti comes, your curry is already cold. Everything takes too long to arrive, no matter what you order.

Hygiene & ambience – Nothing special here. The restaurant is just basic. No premium decor, no standout cleanliness. For such pricing, I expected at least a decent environment.

In short, this place is not worth the money. Low quantity, slow service, rigid ordering system, and average taste. I wouldn't recommend unless they seriously improve on service speed, pricing, and...

They’re literally the thieves.. idk if the owner knows about it but the waiters steals from the leftover food you ask them to pack to take with you at home.. after noticing this thing for 4-5 times I’m writing this review.. last night me and my family went there and had a great dinner and asked the waiter to pack the leftover chicken.. but this time we counted the number of chicken pieces.. and what they gave us in packed box is literally the half amount of what we asked them pack..they should stop doing this practice… else we all know Al Quraish is the only option left for us..ik this may sound little chindi to all of you but we’re muslims… and this is clearly not fair.. if the waiters wants the leftover they can straight forward ask.. but don’t do this kind of chori.. Allah k yaha sabki pakad hai.. Just think...

Food is delicious. Special dish 'Yum Yum Tikka' is a must try. The place is air conditioned and is good from inside. Prices are too good with good quality and tasty food. Much cheaper than others like Nazeer. Proper and sperate space for families. Service is good too. But the surrounding area is dirty. Parking facility is not good enough. Bike can be parked on the road, but if you go by a car, you'll find it difficult to get proper space for parking.
