Garhwal Bakery — Restaurant in Delhi

I go here as a customer only because I get decent products and prices are very reasonable. The experience of going here has deteriorated since they opened up. The owners have not been able to cope up with the growth in business. They are very nice people though and they try their best too. The processes they have come up with have cluttered their outlet and messed up the experience of the customer. I leave with a frown more often than leaving with a smile. Example of buying a cake: The Customer goes to the cake counter, selects a cake, then the boy gives him a slip to make payment, then goes to the cash counter, makes payment, goes back to the cake counter and then gets the delivery. Unexpected hassles and wastage of time. Plus if you request the guy at the cake counter to hand over the cake before clearing the payment, expect a rude reply more often than not!! I can understand that the staff too gets tired in such a messy process! This makes the place crowded, much more than it actually should be, the customers are pushing each other always. One of the best bakeries in Rohini! I’ve tried their patties — especially the aloo, paneer, and chili paneer ones — and they’re all delicious. Fresh, crisp, and full of flavor.

I also regularly buy cakes from here. The best part is that they offer cakes in all sizes, starting from 250g and going up to bigger sizes. Most other bakeries only sell cakes of half kg or more, so this is a great option for smaller celebrations too.

The shop is quite spacious and has a nice atmosphere. They even have a small table outside where you can stand and enjoy your patties.

People often relate quality with good display of products. Quality should never be linked with how a product is visually looking.

My past 2-3 experience with garhwal bakery has been the same. While they have increased the prices, but thier product quality remains poor.

They use poor quality oil in thier snacks, cakes have poor quality cream / icing. If you ever had cakes from good bakeries, you can feel the difference of heaviness/ odd feeling in your mouth while eating thier cakes and pastries.
