The Shahi Foods - Sardarji Chaap Wale — Restaurant in Delhi

Been eating here since childhood but today was the last day.

I ordered takeaway for a gathering of 10 people and the order value was ₹ 2000. I waited for around 20 mins and received my order and went back home. When I came back home, I realised that the bread (rotis & naans) weren’t packed along with the remaining order. I went back to the restaurant which is 15 mins away from my home while the guests were waiting at home. When I told them what happened, the owner started questioning me only, in front of god knows how many people. Asking for pictures of the packed order as I left it at home. The guy who packed the order simply denied of being at fault as to not get scolded by the owners. However, the reason for such a lengthy review is how embarrassed and angry I was at them while standing there, waiting for the rotis to be packed as they eventually agreed after making me shout for no good reason.

I recently visited The Shahi Foods – Sardarji Chaap Wale in Shahdara and tried their Tawa Paneer and Lacha Paratha, and I must say, the experience was truly satisfying. Food is good.. gave my order. Received the takeaway after 40mins.. which is no big deal since I was free.. But there was a Behavioral issue.. Didn't happened with me but I noticed a guy giving instructions about how he wants his food. He was asking the guy behind the counter to cut this chaap into small pieces, the lady who was at billing counter shouted at the customer that please Don't give them any instructions.. wo confuse hojayenge... jab aapka no. Aayega tb aana.. counter se hat jao...

This is not how a paying customer should be treated..
