Visit 1: Ordered masala chaap from their menu thinking that it would be a gravy chap, Also ordered some rotis. After waiting long for 30 minutes in such a conjusted place and prompting the owner 4 times got a dry(no gravy) malai chaap and was surprised to see it on my plate with rotis. Now wondering how one can chew rotis with dry chap called the waiter and asked about the masala(gravy) chap on which he explained that masala chap use to be a dry chap in their prestigious restaurant and order once placed and prepared cannot be returned. So i just chew it with come coke and leave.
Visit 2(by mistake) after 4 months of visit 1: Had to take away some weekend food for whole family(3 adults, 2 children) so ordered half dal and full gravy chap thinking it would be enough for all of us as usually happens with ordering from other restaurants in our area. Waited for 30 minutes prompting the owner 5 times then i got my order packed finally...drove to home and after opening the packet got shocked to see the quantity. Dal was packed in a quarter box and chap was packed in a half box and was not enough for all of us... So just for the time rushed to another restaurant and got packed some more. While having dinner no one could eat the dal because it was half cooked and chap was so spicy to eat. So we all gave up on our weekend party and however managed to have our stomachs full.
Guys...never visit this restaurant and never order from home pls. These restaurants are getting business just because people do not have any other choice in our area and they do not expect more or they have not tried other options to a small drive.
It is a very cheap reataurant in terms of service and quality and they do not care that you visit again or not bcoz they are getting business regularly from customers who do not...

Speaking frequently I'm visiting this place for more than 4 years now and always I visit I enjoy it..everything there is so tasty and staff is also polite and I always feel a familiar environment there ..in terms of food zaika e dilli is definitely an awesome place ...
BUT when I am visiting now a days it doesn't seem much friendly as half of the staff has been changed plus new staff is not such polite and friendly.. they are not bad or rude but the way of treating is not so good. I have visited twice in last 8-9 days and what I have experienced is something I haven't feel before. Last time when we visit it was OK, i didn't feel good but it was OK, but today as i visit I found cheating in my bill when I told one of staff member he says that "I myself bring you the food and I know that I bought you 5 naans" but he only delivered 4 naans, we didn't want to argue so we just pay the bill and left", well since we order 4 naans why he took 5 naans and he was not ready to admit that. That was not good actually as well as not tolerant enough.
But overall place is good for eating and food is also great !!! I always enjoyed there with my friends . Its cool their, eating and partying at any occasion. ty for some good memories...
Read more3* for the bad ambience I believe that for any restaurant, both food quality and ambience play an important role. If the ambience is great but food quality is poor then no one would like to dine out & vice - versa.
Food quality is good but the ambience is poor. Poor lighting , with conjusted sitting and poorly maintained tables makes all together a dark and quirky place for dining. The place is not inviting at all. If you are a first time visitor you might change your mind to dine on seeing the environment. Since I was with my relatives who had been to the place several times they asked me to try the food ignoring the ambience & I guess I was lucky enough to do so. We order stuffed Naan which was the star of our dinner , Dal Makhani which was also quite a hint, Shahi panner and malai chaap ( only thing which required improvement). Malai chaap definitely needs improvement. Instead of malai it was all oil poured on it.
The best thing I liked about the place is that it is Reasonable. We spent total of 550rs for 4 people dining. It's an upgraded version of a dhaba and worth...
