One of the finest hotel near diamond Harbour. Super quality with affordable prices. Lots of varieties in fish items. Basic menu is rice, Dal, vaja, sabji, beguni, chatni, lemon, salt, chili. Extra items can be chosen from variety of fishes and chickens. About mutton I am not sure. I went after one year due to covid protocol and with a surprise I found it to renovated. Now it's looking so great. Ambience is pretty good. The plus point is that you can have a river side view after taking the meal as there are newly made parks and those are very beautiful and peaceful. So if you are there around lunch time then try it. Recent rate vetki rice 180, sol Mach bhat 170. Pomfret and prawns are costlier but affordable. You can also take charapona, ruhu, katla around rs...

In Diamond Harbour, Debu's Hotel is situated on the main road, so It's easily accessible to travelers plying on it. I had occasion to stop over for lunch while driving to Kolkata from Kakdwip. Though the ambiance was not that exiting but quality of food was awesome. Most remarkable was the price of various dishes. Non veg items of fish, chicken and mutton and all veg items were delicious and damn cheap. It has a separate AC section besides the main lounge. Toilets are available which were clean. Visited last here in Nov 2024 at noon. Atmosphere is good but it is bit hard to communicate with some staff person. But it is genuine Sanatan/Hindu Hotel. Quality of Food is good. Don’t get fooled as it is near the harbour so you are eating fresh fish as there are big warehouses to store fishes. So it may be a day old or whatever the case be. It is moderately priced. If I compare the place to Kolkata city it is highly priced. Maybe it is because that place is visited by tourists so they priced it higher but when I visited with my family we were the only tourist we found there. Only local workers came there to eat.

The thali had rice, dal, 2 veg items of the day, a bora like macher dim er bora, aloo bhaja and Chicken/any other fish/paneer as u order, followed by chatni, papad. The meal system is followed which means all items can be repeated except the bhajis. The chicken bowl had 4 pieces weighing around 60-70 kg each. Besides, all the other items, were of perfect quality. Definitely a place i will recommend in Diamond Harbour to have lunch, if u like Bengali food.
