Disappointing service. I would say it was pathetic. They just looted the money from us. They charged around 6000/- extra for some items which we did not order and they commented saying we ordered them. We were around 25 members and just 2 members wanted soup. When we asked for soup, they said no need to order as they will serve soup in small cup kind of complementary. When bill came, they said we all had the soup and we ordered them. This itself took the bill up by around 4000/-.

One more surprise was that they charged for Green Salad as well. I know many restaurants charge them but it will happen only if we order. These people brought 9 plates although we did not order. We felt they brought them by default because many restaurants will even serve salad as complementary. The Salad bill fir 9 plates was 900/- that excluded taxes. They should at least tell and bring the Salad and we would not have ordered the Salad.

Person who took order gave just the FALSE COMMITMENT. He was encouraging us to go for many items as each dish will serve just one person. Surprisingly, each dish was easily accommodating 3 members. While taking order, he said it will take min 15min to order so better to order all at once. Don't know if I have to tell comedy or shocking - they served items within 5-10min.

After talking for 10-15min about the bill, they were just arrogant and did not hear anything to us.

Went there for lunch today while coming back to Bangalore from Chikmagalur. The restrooms were cleaned and maintained. There were ample of parking. Very conveniently they have chosen the place just next to toll plaza so that both the way vehicles can stop for food. Clever move!! There were few kids game shop, pan corner and sweets and dry fruit corner there. We shopped few dry fruits and sweets for my kid. The food was good. Mutton biryani and ghee rice is good. Recently there were some issues with Empire kebab food quality from authorities after getting them tested so have noticed this time they have not used any food colour. The DBC must try! However, the staffs were so busy and specially the attitude of some waiters are not less than the hotel owners, trust me being polite won't cost anything. They also denied giving chicken butter masala in nonveg thali (reason unknown) Nevertheless, you can stop here but don't expect a good quality service, but food is undoubtedly good.

Edit: The hotel CRM Mr. Rehman himself called and spoke to me and accepted the mistake and briefed his team about the incident.
