Read moreIf you’re looking for comfort food that hits the soul, this restaurant’s dal chawal is as good as it gets. Simple, honest, and packed with flavor, their version of this classic dish proves that sometimes the most basic meals are the most satisfying.
The dal is perfectly cooked—creamy in texture, rich in taste, and spiced just right with a fragrant tadka (tempering) of garlic, cumin, mustard seeds, and dried red chilies. It’s not overly oily, and the balance of flavors gives it that home-cooked feel. Whether it’s moong dal, toor, or a mixed lentil version, it’s consistently delicious.
The rice is fluffy, aromatic, and served in generous portions. When paired with the dal, a spoonful feels like a warm hug. What elevates the meal even more are the thoughtful sides—crispy papad, tangy achar (pickle), a spoonful of ghee, and fresh-cut onions or salad. Some days, they even offer a spicy aloo sabzi or fried green chili on the side, making the meal feel like a proper thali.
Service is quick and courteous, and the vibe is humble yet welcoming—no frills, just good food. Whether you’re dining in or taking away, this place is perfect for anyone craving the comfort of authentic dal chawal...

We ordered quite a lot of dishes as it was an office outing.
Crispy veg was more of kind of Manchurian in preparation. Baked macroni with pineapple n cheeze was also not up to the mark. In the main course Paneer was good. But tawa fry was again a disappointment. Gulab jamun were too small.
What can go wrong with Vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate sauce ! So we ordered that with high hopes and water in our mouth. But again we had to face disappointment. What we got was a scoop of vanilla with a spoon of may b Hershey's syrup on the top. Horrible experience.
Ambience was ok. But then when I go to a restaurant what I am looking for is amazing food. For sure there is no next time to the restaurant at least...
