MP20 Restaurant — Restaurant in Ghana

We went to this casual dining restaurant on 15 Nov 2023 for lunch. We had reached by 1315 hrs and there was no waiting period rather it was kind of deserted at that time. Restaurant is located part of a Royal Orbit Hotel. There is a basement parking available in the complex which may require slight manoeuvring and there was no staff to guide. Ambience wise place has a contemporary modern decor. (8/10). It has adequate seating and can accommodate good number of people , and very importantly does not appear congested (8/10). Restaurant Staff is courteous, polite and well behaved, but slightly cold and pressing (7/10). Menu is elaborate and includes predominantly Indian cuisine. (9/10). Service was prompt and My orders arrived hot and in reasonable amount of time. (9/10). Pricing of dishes served were fine. During this visit we tried Paneer achari tikka, tomato soup, sham savera kofta, garlic corn spinach, butter tandoori roti and lachcha paratha. Taste wise dishes had good aroma and were pleasant on taste buds. Quantity wise they were filling for two - three persons.(9/10). we didn't use washroom hence cannot comment on them. I went to celebrate my sister's first placement in an MNC and it went TERRIBLE. I waited for a table for more than 20 mins even after the restaurant's table were vacant. It took more than 15 mins for the staaf to clean the table. Then the attendant bought water bottles without glasses and it took him sufficiently long to get the glasses after reminding him 4 to 5 times. Meanwhile we ordered peanut chat and it wasnt tasteful. For main course we ordered nargisi kofta and naan. The attendant served me food and I found a woman's hair peeping out of kofta. After waiting for exactly 57 mins I gave up the food there and then and hadn't tasted a bit of it. Didn't wanted to create a scene over there so came back hungry. The AMBIENCE and the approach of the hotel is great. I really want the owners to read the review and understand the fact that all their investment in fancy hotel building will go in vein if the management of the restaurant would be so poor. And it wasn't happening because of shortage of staff or some huge event that took the attention away and made a chaos. This is a five star property, one you will be amazed to see in Jabalpur. We visited MP20 restaurant for dinner and we were amazed to see such a well maintained and beautiful property in Jabalpur, it has lot of open space which are ideal for having a small functions and ambience was just mind blowing with beautiful interior ideal for ceremonies like marriage, engagement etc. MP20 has both indoor and outdoor seating most of the time outdoor will be reserved for such functions but indoor ambience is as good as outdoor. I was very much impressed by the staff behaviour and politeness. We had gone for buffet as we were group of 14 people, good thing is even though it vegetarian restaurant this has a lot of opinions we like everything from soup, starters, main course to desert.
