Read moreWe went to this place for lunch. We were sitting on the table for almost an hour. We were able to place the order only after 20-25 mins as the attendant did not bother to turn up, and had no patience to take the complete order. We placed order for thali assuming it’s an item that’s ready in the kitchen and is the quickest to reach on the table. Another 25 minutes passed and no food was on the table. In spite of multiple requests to the waiter, that there are kids and they are feeling hungry, the food was not provided. When asked again, the waiter (consistently being rude) said that if you want you can cancel and walk out. This is an absolute arrogant and rude behaviour. One of them being a local of Goa, and rest of us were tourists. They were all also complaining about the service.
The food of this place might be good (that’s what made us go there), but try the food only if you are ready to...
Read moreWe had breakfast and lunch on consecutive days at Aashram Pure Vegetarian Restaurant, located on NH 66, while traveling from Varca to central and North Goa. Given the scarcity of eateries along this highway, it’s a convenient and valuable stop for travelers.
Finding a good place right on the highway with ample parking was a relief. The restaurant is clean and offers a wide variety of food items at reasonable prices.
For lunch, we ordered Dal Khichdi, which was served piping hot and fresh—it was delicious. We also tried the mini Thali, which was quite good. For breakfast the previous day, we had Dosa and Poori Bhaji—both were tasty and enjoyable.
Overall, Aashram Pure Vegetarian Restaurant is a reliable dining option for travelers on NH 66, offering tasty and reasonably priced meals in a clean and...
